The grandmother was able to get a bed, bed frame, and bed sheets for her grandson, but she is needing help with finding a dresser for him to put his clothes somewhere, besides in bags. This would help the grandson to feel more adjusted to living with his grandmother and make it feel more like home for him. The grandson is 17 years old.

I have a high school student who is currently living in a hotel with his mother. He informed me they are struggling with food. Student informed me his mom is trying as hard as she can. She is currently working 12 hour night shifts to try to help them get back on their feet. I am hoping to get them a $100+ Walmart gift card. This would help elevate some of the stress student and mother are feeling for the need of food. This will also allow them to get any personal hygiene or clothing products they may need.

Single mother with four kids ages 4 months to 7 years old. This family just moved back into Kansas from a infested Missouri home. This family's current sofa and love seat are in bad condition as they were infested with insects at their former home. The mother is grateful to be out of the former living conditions and is needing furniture that she and her children can utilize to be together in Livingroom and kitchen. This single mother is in need of living room seating and a rectangle kitchen table with chairs. Their kitchen is small though a rectangle table will work great as it can sit against the window. The children like sitting together at the table for meals. Currently the family has a abused sofa and love seat in the living room. Donor could provide a sectional or a love seat/sofa . Thank you for considering and if any questions feel free to reach out.
I am a school social worker at Gerner Family Education Center. Our building services ages 3-5 all of which have a variety of needs that are accommodated via special education or meet income requirements for our programming. One area that we have seen as a huge need is for diapers and pull ups. Because WIC limitations and the every rising cost of these items, we have experiencing several families that are not able to provide the appropriate amount of pull ups and diapers to meet the needs of their child. We have had several families that have to stretch their diapers beyond their use time which is causing potential skin rashes and overall discomfort for our already disadvantaged children. By having a supply of readily available pull ups and wipes for classroom and parent use would drastically fill a huge need. The size of diapers are as follows: Size 1 (infant) 2 boxes
Size 3T, 4T and 5T pull ups... Enough to give one box to each classroom. Happy Bottoms has been a great resource however with a need this large they are not able to assist.
Special Instructions:
The size of diapers are as follows: Size 1 (infant) 2 boxes
Size 3T, 4T and 5T pull ups... Enough to give one box to each high need classroom (we have around 10 high need classrooms)

Family of 7 is lacking transportation to and from medical appointments, work, and a grocery store. They live out in the country so a bus pass will not be sufficient. They just bought a car and do not have enough to pay sales tax to get it registered. We are estimating sales tax and registration to be $150. The family is also struggling with mice in their home.
We are seeking a card with $150 for sales tax and registration as well as a few mice traps.
Thank you.

In June of 2023, the family lost their home to a fire and were unable to save any personal items. They have recently found housing and have some furniture, but they are needing more. The family is needing a full size mattress and bed frame for the grandmother, 3 dressers for each of the boys, a tv for the living room, and a washer and dryer.

Mom has a Section 8 voucher for housing. However, she is in need of the deposit to be able to move in on October 1, 2023. She is currently enrolled in school, a 7 week phlebotomy program. She is doing well on her case plan tasks. This will help the family move closer to reintegration. Currently, the children are placed with their aunt. There is a strong family unit of support, they just do not have the funds to help her with this financial need.
An 8yr old boy with Autism gets out of the house and runs towards a pond that is close to the home. The mom would like for child to have swimming lessons so that if he is around water he will be safe. The child does not know how to swim or float. The mom has found somewhere for children with Autism to have swimming lessons, Platte City YMCA. The sessions are 208.00 a session, and the mom feels that if he goes to a couple and she can observe that she will be able to work with her son alone

Hello there, we just placed a fifteen-year-old child with her great grandmother. The great grandmother is on a fixed income and is in need of a twin mattress and box spring for the child that we placed with her today. The great grandmother is also caring for another grandchild that she has adopted.
The grandmother has had the child that we placed with her today since she was a baby. We are hoping that someone could possibly donate this item and deliver it to her home. She lives on the 5th floor at an apartment building, and it would be difficult for her financially as well as physically to get. Thank you so much for your consideration.
A, M, & G came into care do to homelessness and substance abuse by their mother. They were placed in a few traditional foster homes before being placed in a kinship home. While in the kinship home their mother passed away. Their birth father was incarcerated for a charge in his youth and was recently released. He has worked hard towards getting the kids back. He has gone to visits with them and is providing clean UAs. Their father has not been able to get A a bed yet. This is something that she needs to have before she can begin a trial home visit with her father. These babies have been through so much in their short lives. A, is only 3 years old and has already seen homelessness, trauma, and the loss of her mother. We want to do whatever we can to give her a normal and happy childhood going forward. A needs a bed. Dad has been able to get a bunk bed for the boys, though they could use pillows.
