I have a mother, who has a child with complex medical needs. Mother lives in the home with her adult son and we are working on transitioning the minor child back into the home. Mother has recently injured herself and could use a recliner to prop her leg up. The family does not have much furniture in the home. I am requesting assistance getting the family a recliner, a loveseat or smaller couch, and curtains for the home. The family could also use a couple of dressers. Any assistance with any of the items listed would be a huge help to this family, as mother has no disposable income at this time.
A non custodial father has placement of his two year old son and is in need of a safe place for him to sleep.
We are requesting a toddler bed and mattress at this time and bedding if able. Father works to provide but struggles to maintain with his child support for other children and his limited work hours due to a lack of childcare he has experienced.
Mother and children recently moved to Indiana due to domestic violence and are currently sharing a full size bed in a small room. A twin bunkbed and two toddler beds will help improve the children and mothers quality of life.
ANY HELP APPRECIATED

There is a single mother with a 5 month old baby boy. The baby was taken from the mother after a domestic violence incident for over a month. A single mother of three continue to argue and put children out of the home. The children will reside with family members without a legal document. The family members have a hard time making medical appointment or addressing school issues if needed. The family member (grandparents) is willing to care for all three children with a little assistance.
Relative caregiver is currently in need of a carbon monoxide detector to place in garage near furnace. This assistance will help that family have appropriate safety items in the home in case of an emergency.
Two kids are placed in kinship care and they need clothes. Aunt, who is placement told FCM that kids' clothes are worn out, others are becoming small and that she needs help. This help will help kids remain in their kinship/relative care without placement disruption.
Ms. Aliesha Williams has requested a queen size bed for her children and a new microwave. This will allow the children to have an appropriate bed instead of sleeping on the couch or mattresses on the floor.
The children are in home with mother while engaging in weekly safety checks and DCS recommended services. Mother is stating her AES balance is around $388 and would like assistance with paying all or a portion of her bill. Mother is seeking remote employment and has attempted to explore community programs that will assist with utilities, however she has received 2 denial letters.

Two children are in need of school uniforms. The uniforms are navy blue, red, white, and gray polo shirts and khaki pants. One of the children wears an XL in children's pants and tops. The other child wears a medium in tops and 6/7 in children`s pants. Both children are female.
Mom has a vehicle that is in the shop for repairs and that will cost $1707. The vehicle is at Byrider in Greenwood. The mom has recently had a baby who was born 3 weeks early. She had to stop working early as well and could use the assistance so she has reliable transport to take her children to their doctor's visits, pick them up from daycare, etc. Mom is almost done with her trial home visit and has been hugely successful in her services. This help would make all the difference for their family as the only remaining need is reliable transportation. The mom needs help covering the cost of the car repairs.
This 16 year old child is placed in kinship placement and they are willing to do guardianship! This child has found his forever home, however, groceries are higher than ever right now and they are seeking some help! Any help appreciated!!
this mother is needing all help that she can get. Groceries are becoming high, and she is asking for any help possible to buy some food. ANY HELP APPRECIATED!
A mom on one of my cases needs help fixing a leak in her basement. When it rains really bad, it'll flood the basement and she has all the storage down there so stuff tends to get ruined by the water. She has her most important stuff up on pallets now, but we would still like to help her get the problem fixed as soon as possible. This mom is a single parent, living in a smaller sized house so the basement is the only place to store most of their items.
Getting this fixed with help the mom feel less stressed about their belongings, it could prevent any mold from the water, and mom will be able to have a peace of mind and focus on other things to better take care of her daughter. This mom is very dedicated to the well-being of her daughter and will do anything to make sure that her daughter as all her needs met no matter what. This mom will take any job to earn money for her and her daughter. This mom is also always willing to help out others in need, fixing things for them, running errands, doing anything to help out. We would like to see her be able to have the favor returned!
Cherilyn:
Question: is this mother the owner of the home? If so, there is some money available for home repair (and other things) through the City of Anderson. I would be happy to connect with this family and see if they could access these funds. This would not apply if they are renting the home.
Mother has an In-Home CHINS case and has seven children. Two of the children are involved on this case. Mother does not receive any support from the father's of the children. Mother works hard to support all seven of her children. Mother is struggling to be able to afford anything extra at this time and has no furniture or shelving in the home.
Mother is needing living room furniture as she does not have anything in the living room to sit on. Mother is needing shelving for the kitchen to be able to store things off of the floor such as dishes and food. Mother also could use a television for the living room.
