She is looking to move to a larger home to have more adequate space for the children and needs assistance with paying for the deposit to move into the home. She works a full-time job and has already saved up $600 for the deposit. We have an 11 month old child who is at a local children's hospital due to significant physical abuse, that is ready to discharge to a relative. The hospital feels that the child will need a " Sitter baby cry signaler, alarm clock receiver bed vibrator combo" for the child to be successful in the relative placement. Due to the abuse, the child has been met with multiple physical and developmental challanges. We feel that this device will be helpful for the child, and want to make the relative placement successful so the child can be placed with their twin. The device is $150. the device can be ordered and sent to the Worker at Jackson County Children's Division.

Critical Request
A single mother and her three children are experiencing homelessness and are in need of temporary shelter until they can secure permanent housing. Mom is overwhelmed with the recent eviction and, although she is working, has spent all of her income on bills and on temporary housing for this past week (the family has to leave there on Friday, 3/10/23 at 10:00 am). We are asking for financial assistance for a hotel to prevent the family from living in their car, as this will increase the risk of removal of the children. Thank you for your support and compassion towards the families we serve! Updated on March 17, 2023 by an Agency Worker
This request remains extremely urgent. The family will be kicked out of the hotel where they are staying tomorrow morning.

Single young mother with two small children in need of borrowing a car to take her driver's license test. Mother works overnights and can meet any time during the week in the afternoon to borrow car and take her test. Once this mom gets her driver's license, she can drive her car and take the children to appointments, she can go to work without using Uber or Lyft or catching a ride from someone else. This will help create more independence for this young mom. In the meantime, some Uber or Lyft gift cards would be helpful to this family until her driver's license is received.
