I am working with a biological mother of five children. Mom is compliant with services and recognizes she needs help achieving sobriety. Mom has agreed to go to medical detox followed by inpatient care. Mom has identified past due rent as a barrier that would postpone or potentially prevent her from going to detox and inpatient care. Mom's monthly rent is just below $200 a month and she is behind by three months. Mom is currently looking for employment in order to pay the past due balance but could prioritize her sobriety and postpone job seeking if there was no past due balance.

Loving traditional foster home needing assistance paying for cheer registration, uniform, briefs, and pom poms for the foster child. The total for all is $345. Any amount towards this total would be a blessing! Thank you for helping families in need!

Grandmother is the foster parent of her granddaughter which is currently is DHS custody. Grandmother has been trying very hard to make ends meet being that she is living off SSI. Grandmother is asking for help to transport her granddaughter back and forth to school. Grandmother is also very low on groceries and is seeking anything that can help her prepare full course meals for her granddaughter. We have a mother and daughter who have been brought back together. We have observed the mother and child to have a great bond. The mother just moved into a new apartment and will be starting a new job in the next couple of weeks. The mother has overcame many obstacle's in her life, and during our interaction with the mother we have observed an amazing turn around in her life. She is needing assistance with her rent and only has a short window of time to do so. If this barrier can eliminated it will help the mother save for incoming bills. We would like to add that this is a one time ask, because the mother believes she will be able to meet all of the needs in the home once she starts working full time. Hello! We are looking for a little help for a father that has successfully reunified with his children. This dad has really gone above and beyond to ensure his children were returned, and issues were corrected. There were some issues at reunification that actually resulted in the kids being returned about 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Dad needs a little help meeting the financial needs a little early. We are asking for a lawn mower any in working order will help! His yard is not large so a push mower is much appreciated. Shortly after the children were returned his clothes dryer bit the dust. We are asking for an electric clothes dryer in working condition if possible. Any help is appreciated!

I have a dad whose children have recently come into custody. He is needing an out of state birth certificate. We are requesting the funds to order the birth certificate so that he can obtain ID which he does not currently have. Without id, he cannot get a job or access services.

Please help a recently single mother who has fled from an unsafe situation. The mother has four littles all under the age of 6. The mother has taken the steps to keep her children safe by filing for divorce and relocating. The mother was displaced, and she is now attempting to rebuild her life. The mother has found a safe place for her and her children, but she is unable to come up with utility deposit. The mother does not have much support, and we would like to help her come up with the money that is required for her new home. Thank you.

OKDHS is working a prevention case with a family of 4 children. The oldest child went to live with his father, but his father has had a difficult time staying in touch with his son and needs to be able to get ahold of his son's school. This father recently lost his job due to car trouble and this left him unable to pay for his phone service. Not having phone service has made it difficult for his son's school to contact him about important issues. This father needs help with restoring his phone service. He also needs a $30 part for his car to get it up and running again to allow him to be able to work again. Thank you for your generous help and the support you provide the families in our community!
