There are four children who currently reside with their grandmother due to their mother being in jail and the fathers not being involved. The grandmother is receiving no financial assistance from the parents or anyone else in order to assist in providing for the basic needs of the children. The grandmother is also responsible for a $1,500.00 water bill as she was renting a home to the mother and the mother has refused to pay the bill. The grandmother has voiced the four children are in need of winter clothes for the approaching season and it is very difficult for her to take on the extra expenses. She could use assistance in providing the children with clothing. The children wear a size 14 boy, size 12-14 boy, size 7 girl, and size 5T boy.

Biological mother just moved into a place of her own after a very long time. She is working full time and attending services regularly. She is needing some things to make her new space feel like home for herself and her two little girls - ages 1 and 3. The family would really like a couch for the living room as a place to all hang out together; they would also love a dining room table to be able to eat together as a family; they are also needing some dressers for the bedrooms to store clothes; a twin size bed for the three year old; some appliances they are needing include a refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer. Biological mom does have two small window A/C units but with the weather starting to cool down, space heaters will probably be needed, as well. Thank you!

A kinship foster mother who is the grandmother to teen child placed with her has two shut off notices. One shut off notice is for electric and one shut off notice is for her gas. She also owes back rent to her landlord. This foster mother is currently trying to become fully approved but has had to miss some of her training due to her car breaking down and she has had to use much of her money to repair her car. I have confirmed these needs by receiving copies of her shut off notices. If these needs aren't met the child may have to placed in a traditional home and not stay with his grandmother whom he has had a relationship with during his entire life.

We are currently working with a mom who has found a stable home for her and her two kids (ages 1 and 5). She was approved for the home, but just needs help with her deposit so she can move in as soon as as possible. Mom just returned home from completing her out-of-state treatment, so does not have the ability to come up with the deposit in the time needed. She is needing assistance with the large deposit of $500. This home means a lot to her. It will allow her to have a stable place to reside while she secures a job that gives her a steady, reliable income and allows for her to maintain the home. She is looking forward to engaging in the rest of her services and is hopeful to being reunified with her children. If you feel that you can assist in any way, even partially, I would be happy to connect you to mom.

Biological mother is engaged in services and recently obtained a place of her own. Biological mom is two months postpartum with a newborn baby girl. Biological mom is working towards finding a job but will need childcare for the baby before she can begin working. Biological mom found a daycare in the area she is living, however the daycare requires a non-refundable application fee. Due to biological mom being two months postpartum, she has not been able to work and therefore cannot afford the application fee at this time. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Mom left Colorado with her three young children about 18 months ago, trying to get away from an abusive situation. After living in their car for a while, someone gave them a trailer to live in, where they only needed to pay lot rent. The trailer was full of junk, and in a state of disrepair, but Mom has worked hard, and managed to make the trailer safe for the children, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Mom has a car that wasn't running, so she scraped together money to buy a truck, but the head gasket blew on the way home. That has been repaired, but the truck is not in the least bit reliable. No transportation makes it impossible to find steady employment, and now her oldest son has broken two limbs (school playground mishap), and he will need to be transported to doctor's appointments. She has swallowed her pride, and asked for help from neighbors, but if she could get some assistance with repairs around the house, and reliable transportation, it would mean the world to her.

Grandpa, mom and 2 year old toddler live in the home. They are financially struggling to pay bills because grandpa is having a hard time finding employment right now. Mom is staying at home with the 2 year old child. Their water has been shut off for approximately two weeks, using water jugs and traveling to other peoples homes to shower and do laundry. The family also is struggling with a roach infestation needing assistance with extermination. Fulfilling this need will improve the 2 year old and caregivers daily living and well-being as well as providing a sanitary household.
