A foster family that is taking care of a 3 year old boy whose current mattress is causing him to be uncomfortable since it has been worn down. The family had several expensive things breaks down on them over the past few months that they are having to put all their financial resources towards such as a refrigerator break down and both of their vehicles breaking down at the same time and needing costly repairs that are several thousand dollars worth. They would greatly appreciate the help with a new twin sized mattress for their foster child so that is one less expense they have to come up with the money for.
I have a family that is in need for assistance with a daycare enrollment fee. After a frantic search the family has found a daycare with openings but must come up with $150.00 for enrollment fees for 2 children. They are fearful that if they are not able to find this quickly that they will be placed on another wait list which are long at the time. The family is helping but can no longer help with the children due to the risk of losing their employment. The family would great appreciate the assistance with this need. Funds need to in the form of money order directly to the childcare facility.
I have a family who was recently experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence. They rushed into a housing situation to get out of homelessness and it was not a healthy environment. This family has a child who is recovering from brain cancer, due to the sensitive nature of his health he can’t be exposed to unhealthy living. The landlord was not willing to fix the issue and they are being forced to find another home, they will have to be out of the current house by the 21st of March. The family has found another home to move into and has paid the deposit. The family has income coming in but it only stretches to cover the current bills. Mom has not been able to work due to her son cancer but now that he is on the mend she is looking to get back to work soon. The family was able to come up with most of the rent they are needing. However they are a little short and are needing help with the final amount. This family has worked really hard to overcome all the obstacle put in their way. By getting this help it will allow this family to finally be back on track to be independent and it will get then into healthy living environment.
We have a single mother trying to raise three kids. One of which has severe violent behavior issues. The mother had to quit her job due to her kid's behavior. She has not been able to work in the last two months. Therefore, the mother has fallen behind on her mortgage payments and is needing help with paying her mortgage. Please consider helping this parent get back on her feet, any amount of assistance would be greatly appreciated.
This mom and child are in trial reunification and dependent on the bus. She has multiple services throughout town that she is required to get to, in addition to getting food for her family. A bus pass would be helpful for her to be able to do to this and take one more thing off her shoulders to worry about.
This is for a relative kinship home. The family has two boys and they are in need of both pull ups and diapers. They need pampers size 5 and 7 and pull ups size 4/5T . Price estimate is based on Walmart prices for approximately $40 per package. The boys have very sensitive skin and Pampers is the one the doctor recommends and the only brand that does not appear to make their eczema worse. This family is in a kinship home and moving steadily towards reunification. Any assistance we can provide for them is appreciated. Wipes were not requested but would be appreciated.
The foster family took in a teenage sibling to the child they are fostering, to keep siblings together. The home is small & they are in need of a small or slim dresser for the teen. The dresser does not need to be new.
A non-pain kinship home is requesting assistance in obtaining a few bus passes for the family to get around on a day-to-day basis. The family does not have any transport of their own and relies primarily on the public bus as their means of transport. The family is requesting 3 months' supply of bus passes (The cost per bus pass is $45, totaling to $135). Your help, no matter how small will be very greatly appreciated. Thanks
Maternal grandmother/Foster mother in need of gas car. Foster Mother uses van to transport medically fragile foster child to and from appointments. Van takes about $50 to fill up. Any help would be much appreciated!
This mom is currently working her service plan to reunify with her children. She is needing help with transportation. She lives in Tulsa and often utilizes the bus system. She is needing help with getting a bus pass so she can work and attend her services in efforts to reunify with her children.
A foster mom is raising a teen daughter and a teen foster son she is in the process of adopting. She's been a support for this teen through his difficulties for more than a year and has started the official adoption process. In the fall, she had $1,400 stolen from her that she'd pulled from the bank to pay bills during an issue with a fraud alert on her debit card. Before she could get the money orders, the cash was stolen. She is behind on the rent for the rental home from that month and the landlord is unwilling to continue allowing the balance to remain unpaid. She has been paying the rent monthly since the theft and been seeking out resources to help with rent but has been unable to pay the past due balance of $800 because other agencies state they do not have more funds to help with rental assistance. Any assistance toward helping with the rent will preserve this home for this teen and his foster/adoptive sister.
This family has recently entered Trial Reunification and things are going very well. The family had gotten a car to help with transportation and it has broken down. They are working to get it fixed but need to be able to get around until they do. The family is in need of bus passes for the both parents to help get them to services along with being able to get them and the children around to appointments and to run errands, like getting groceries. Please help them out by providing them each with a 31 day bus pass.
Hello Church Network! We are making a request for volunteers as a new agency on 111Project’s CarePortal. My name is Malayna, and I am the Tulsa County Coordinator for PARB which is the (Post Adjudication Review Board). PARB volunteers help monitor and support juvenile court proceedings across the state. The Tulsa County Post Adjudication Review Board has a few vacancies that need to be filled with the right volunteers. You would be a great volunteer if you: 1. Have the capacity to meet once a month to review cases. We have three boards we are trying to fill, all of which meet on one Tuesday a month after 4:30 pm. This board meets at the Tulsa County Juvenile Center in downtown Tulsa. 2. Willing to review active child welfare cases and make recommendations to Judge Dreiling. 3. Have some child welfare or foster care experience which would include your experience with CarePortal 4. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes role advocating for the best interest for children in your community. Requirements: 1. Applicants must live or work in Tulsa County 2. Complete a four-page application and approval process that includes a background check. 3. A three-year commitment to serve. Please respond to this request and I will get back to you on any questions or details you need to be answered. Visit our website for more information.

FURNITURE NEED!!! This family has one couch in their living room, and a fold out table for the kitchen table. They are in NEED of a new couch, the current one they have is not safe for the kids. This family consists of three young children and their biological parents. The parents have been working hard on creating a safe place for all of their children. They have been making progress but have some physical needs that need to be met to improve their children's well-being. Father works fulltime to provide for the family, while mom is full-time caregiver of the children. The family has physical needs they are unable to take care of, and while the case worker has been working to get the family resources, finding a couch for the family of 5 has been challenging. Being able to receive a couch for this family would provide comfort and a safe place to spend family time together. The families current couch has numerous hazards that are not safe for the young children, but it is currently the only seating in the house. This is where the family spends all of their time together, so a safe and new couch would increase togetherness and continue to give the family hope and cohesiveness as they continue with our parenting program.

This resource family is 2 uncles and a great uncle taking care of their nieces. This family is in need of some dresser drawers for 2 little girls, ages 5 and 6 yo. They would like 2 separate drawers if possible, but would also take 1 larger dresser that could house all of the girls' clothes. Please let me know if you can meet this need.
I have a relative foster home who have taken placement of their neice and nephew. They are in need of a full size mattress for the bunk bed they have. Currently they are using a queen on it which does not fit. Additionally, they could use full size bedding suitable for a pre-teen boy.
A mother just left an ongoing domestic violence relationship and has started from the ground up. She needs a twin size bed and bedding for her youngest child who is sleeping on the couch with her.
Hardworking mother of two teenage girls needs help covering her cell phone/internet bill and a month long bus pass so she can complete her certification at her trade program. The girls have their own bus pass through Tulsa Public Schools, but mom often finds herself in a bind trying to get to her classes. She used the last of her monthly money to cover pass fare and now does not have a working cell phone or internet. I would like to help her get these covered so she can complete her certification which would help her get a job and avoid these barriers! Thank you!
