I have a newly single Mom who is needing a few dressers for her kiddos. Dad has recently moved out and she has lots of clothing piled up in the laundry rom because she has no where to put the clean clothes. The dressers were one of the Dad's belongings and he took them when he left. I hope that getting this mom and kiddos something that is useful to them will help Mom see that there are places that can help her and she won't go back into a DV situation.

The mother on this case was given an eviction notice and was requested to be out by October 31st, 2023. The mother was off work for 3 months due to having a broken foot and got behind on her rent. Due to her renting from her father and not having a lease agreement we are not able to assist in getting her rent paid up. The mother is trying to get a new place but has a past due bill from when she left her abuser. If this bill is paid, she will have a better chance of getting an apartment for her and her son before the October 31st deadline. This bill is an Evergy Bill.

This Treatment Court participant has exceeded all of our expectations. She has great communication skills, and is extremely responsible. She has maintained two jobs, obtained transportation and housing, on top of all the court requirements. Most importantly, she has rebuilt the relationships with her children. This participant recently experienced issues with her vehicle while driving home from out of town. She has handled it beautifully, had it towed, and dealt with specifics regarding her warranty before reaching out for assistance. She is set to graduate the program in the near future, and we'd love to see her start her life after Treatment Court on the right foot. She would be appreciative of any help provided towards fixing her car.

Aunt and Uncle are caring for their almost 4-year-old niece and 3-month-old nephew along with their own two biological children. The uncle is the sole provider of the family at this time. Aunt had to stop her part-time work due to the arrival of their niece and nephew, as she is caring for their newborn nephew who has required a lot of attention after getting released from the NICU. They have prioritized rent, food, and urgent family needs which resulted in them falling behind on their utility bill. They would greatly benefit and would appreciate any help to get back on track with their utility bill and to avoid a disruption in their water and power. The home must have water and power in order to be able to keep the foster youth in their care. Please help preserve the foster placement of their niece and nephew.

She is about to have her quincenera and her placement isn't able to afford as big of a party as it typically would be, so she is wanting to get her concert tickets instead.
