Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
Hello my wonderful community! I hope all is well for everyone. I am reaching out to our helpful community for a single parent foster home. She became a single parent overnight to four sweet children that have been placed in custody. Due to the increase of children in the home, she now needs more space. Can someone help her? The foster parent loves the children so much and wants to provide a better life for the little ones. she is either looking for a home in the Norman area or needs help with the deposit to move.

Please help me keep two siblings together! A kinship family is in need of assistance with a bedbug and roach issue! The foster father was recently diagnosed with a medical problem which caused him to fall into a financial situation. This family has been hit from left to right with major life changes! now this! They know have a bedbug and roach problem! The foster father has tried everything but with great failure, it has gotten out of hand even more! Please help keep the children together by helping this family with infestation. They are very attached to their foster parent.

Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
Hello! I have a newly opened relative kinship family. They are a young couple, just starting out (and starting over!) with their young daughter (3) and they are caring for their niece (1.5). In order to take placement of her, they had to move from the home they were in, as it was in very poor condition to no fault of their own. They are now in a place of their own but they had to leave nearly everything behind due to the state of the home and items in it (they lived with a grandparent in a very rundown home). They are excited to be in their own place, but they have NO furniture whatsoever, aside from a mattress for the couple, a toddler mattress for their daughter, and a crib for the kinship child. This family would be immensely grateful for any and all kinds of furniture-couch, chairs, kitchen table/chairs, nightstands, shelving, etc. They are also in need of a washer/dryer. Anything at all (used is fine!), as long as its safe and in fair condition, would be amazing. The items will need to be delivered, as they only have a tiny sedan. Thank you!

Help Reunify a Bio Family
A biological mother would like assistance in obtaining a bicycle. The mother does use the bus for transportation; however, she still walks to many places as it would be faster to walk than to ride the bus because of her location. Mother is working her court order treatment services, and she is maintaining her sobriety. Mother prioritizes family time with her one-year-old son, and she is very engaged and attentive to him when they are together. Mother desires to see her son more on the weekends and she is wanting family time to be at church on Sundays; however, she doesn't have a fast way to get to church, and the buses do not transport on Sundays. Mother is excited about the progress she has made so far, and she is determined to not let anything stop her from reunification with her child.

Help Reunify a Bio Family
Hello, I am requesting assistance for a parent on my caseload. This parent is having difficulty paying their rent. The parent is working full-time but recently changed jobs where he is making less. This parent is needing to pay $350.00 in rent to get caught up. This would help the parent to maintain his housing, and to work on services to help reunify his child. Thank you for your consideration in helping this parent.

Food Donation for Children at the Family Tree The OKDHS Family Tree offers a home-like setting for children awaiting placement. The Center is a safe, comfortable environment for children as the child welfare worker completes necessary paperwork and identifies a foster placement. Children often come in hungry. The Family Tree allows children to choose what they want to eat, giving them a choice when they do not have many choices. We have a list of possible suggestions but are open to any food donation that is easily prepared. The Family Tree has a refrigerator and can accept frozen or cold foods. Thank you for your help!
