I have a young lady ct just out of jail about 2 week ago trying to find and job and living with her parents whom also have guardianship of her kids right now. My ct doesn't have the best relationships with her parents that have her kids but she is trying to help them and help with her kids. The parents have exhausted there money on her lawyer expenses and need huge help with rent (like I have already ask for) but also there are things in the home that were neglected. My ct in her parents house needs a new microwave there is working but sometimes sparks on things. My ct needs queen bedding for her bed. The kid (2) of them dont have a dresser for their clothing. My Ct has been storing all kids toys and books in a storage tote cause they need a toy box for toys and a bookcase for the books that she wants to read to them. For her toddler they need a new playpen and the daughter has been breaking their current one and then for the son she needs toddler bedding for him too. It has been a struggle for a such a younger girl in her 20s to raise 2 children with no child support yet from the father and did for a while have her own struggles with drugs but is now trying to make it better. I'm currently working with a foster home that is in need of 2 dressers for the 2 children they have taken. One is a boy and the other is a girl. They have gotten the children new beds, clothes and shoes already, they just need help getting dressers until they get payment.

This family has three teenage children who have outgrown their beds. This family is at poverty level and can not provide additional funds for beds. The teens beds are falling apart and are in not good shape. They also have poor quality heat and air as it is an older home. One of the children's rooms gets so hot in the summer they can't utilize it in the summer. They requested a window unit.

I have a mother and 2 children in shelter who have fled DV and are in need of some help getting clothes and shoes. Mom speaks very little English and her work credentials are from Mexico, so she is not able to find employment at this time. She is working towards obtaining the proper documents and taking ESL classes. Any financial help to get her and children clothes and shoes would be appreciated.

I am working with a Consumer who is blind and the primary caregiver of a newborn, a toddler, and a pre-teen. She is currently engaged with the Department of Rehabilitation. Due to her visual impairment, she has been advised that using a stroller presents significant safety challenges, as it prevents her from simultaneously using her white cane to navigate safely. Although she currently owns a double stroller, pushing it requires both hands, which compromises her ability to detect obstacles or changes in terrain. A wagon, which she can pull with one hand while using her cane with the other, has been identified as a safer and more effective mobility solution for outings with her younger children. Her newborn is approximately one month old, and her toddler is under the age of two. Any assistance in providing a suitable wagon to safely accommodate both children would be greatly appreciated. Example of a wagon that is needed is attached. It has a car seat adapter to hold the newborn until the child is older to go in the wagon.

I am working with a Consumer who is a single mother dedicated to improving her financial stability and strengthening her relationship with her child. She has demonstrated significant progress in budgeting her income and maintaining positive parenting practices. Unfortunately, she recently encountered an unexpected and ongoing car repair issue that has become a financial burden. Despite her efforts, the problem with the vehicle remains unresolved, and the associated costs have impacted her ability to meet her financial obligations. As a result, she is currently $175 short of her rent for the month. Any partial or full assistance to help cover this shortfall would be greatly appreciated and would provide critical support as she continues working toward her goals.

I do have a ct that has given her parents guardianship of her while she is needing to get her life back together. She is just fresh out of jail and wants to help her parents with her kids. My Ct is afraid of her financial situation and the situation of her parents causing her kids to end of in foster care. My ct is already also living with her parents where her kids were at when she was in jail. She told me that with hiring a lawyer all all legal fees her parents have done for her they didnt have money for last two months of rent and didnt pay it to their landlord. She tells me that their landlord is requiring a payment plan of getting caught up and asking they do $1200 now for rent and that is not something her parents even with her help if she get a job can help with. My Ct is looking for work but also need help with pretty much every things for daily living of her kids. She has requested help with clothes for her 2 kids . Her daughter is 2 and needs 3t or 4t pull ups plus 5 t and 6t shirts she says daughter is big chest but for pants wears 4t or5t pants she thinks. For her son who is 3 he needs 2t and 3 t clothes, diapers size 5 and shoes size 8 toddlers size. For both her kids she needs bathing stuff like body washes, lotions and diaper cream too

Ct came to cm asking for help with a lawn mower from the care portal as ct's has a broke lawnmower and the weeds are growing so high that is risking a ticket from the city. Ct has his girls every weekend at his home and the grass is so high they (the girls) and him want to play in the yard sports and yard darts things like that in the yard and cant with the grass so tall. The weeds just shot up this year with a lot of rain this the end of April. My ct tried to fix his mower but it is seems to be just toast. My needs the grass cut for benefit of his family bonding time. Plus he girls are the age of helping doing yard work and he was going teach them about mowing when found out it was broken. His girls are 13 and 14 I believe or 12 and 13.

Foster Home has accepted two sisters for care, enabling OHS to keep the sisters together, but a bunk bed is needed to make the arrangement successful. A bunkbed will let the girls be in a room of their own, giving them a sense of normalcy.

My ct needs some help with rent at $450 that was due already April 1st. My Ct has had a job at Tyson for a while but then out of no where started suffering heart attacks or high anxiety type issues and got put on a heart monitor. Her doctor wrote her a note for work explaining in his medical opinion she could still work as long as she was put on a lighter duty then normal. This was done for a week or two while the heart monitor was doing its job all the sudden Tyson fired her saying she was a liability to the company and they had to let her go. She is currently talking to a lawyer about the legality of this issue plus filing unemployment that she may or may not get. She also says the unemployment office says unemployment checks when approved can now take a month to get to you. That is crqazy which means her rent will come due again on May 1st. With her light duty work schedule being fired and being off for a week for medical reason my ct's last check was only $40 and needs help with two rent payment of $450 each (one being past due from April 1st the other due May 1st. She already lives in CDSA's housing which is already a low income apartment.

Child has been having difficulty in school. The current placement is working with the schools, health providers and speech therapist to assist the child in establishing a healthy learning environment. These have been recommended by the speech therapist that may help the child by better distinguish letters and numbers while completing his school work. The child has some delays in his motor skills and struggles to do things like button his shirt, pants, etc. which the Busy Board will help with. Please assist the current placement in gathering these tools to help remove more barriers to this child learning and having a positive school experience. A current kinship placement has 4 children in the home (2 teenage foster children and 1 biological teenager). They have not started receiving their state stipend for having the children and are struggling on getting their electric bill caught up. The foster parents are now behind a month. The placement providers would be very appreciative if they could get at least $300.00 paid towards their OG&E bill so they can quit being so stressed about that bill. They also asked about getting assistance for some food as well. They stated that any assistance with these items would be greatly appreciated!!
