Good afternoon, This family of three needs a washer and dryer. This family was homeless for six months living in a hotel; they obtained a home in January. The previous family left a washer, but it isn't operational. Mom works six days a week, and they are currently on the path to a financially sustaining life. This resource significantly contributes to that end.

There is a 13-year-old boy that would like to be reunited with his family. He currently is staying with the school secretary and is flourishing. This kid went from D and F to be on the honor roll. We would like to honor this kid and bring him dignity by getting him a twin-size bed frame, mattress, linens, blankets, and pillow. This will allow him to be reunited with his mom again. He currently visits her but would have to sleep on the floor. He's a great kid that needs a bit more assistance. Would you please consider helping?

Mother of two needs assistance with rent and has been warned that if she does not make payment, an eviction will be filed. Mother was working but after being assaulted by her abusive paramour, she was placed in the hospital for a week and was fired by her job. She has been using her savings but has run out. Mother does not have a relative resource and needs the rent assistance to keep a secure home away from her ex-paramour.
Children's Division is asking for help to help a mother with transportation to get to and from appointments, visits with her child and court. Children's Division would request donation be made in the form of an Uber or Lyft card.
The Jackson County Children's Division is needing a twin bed and a platform bedframe for a child in our care. This child is five-years-old and he is currently living with his aunt, two cousins, and sister. They just moved into a larger home for all five of them to have room to grow and thrive. Four beds are a lot to purchase all at once so we are asking for community help for the children that are in our care. This is an urgent need as the children are currently and will continue to sleep on air mattresses in the meantime. Any help with fulfilling this request would be very appreciated.
We are asking for help with a twin size mattress and twin size platform bedframe.

Two active and bright kiddos ages two and six have been placed in the care of their aunt for almost two years now. During that time their aunt has taken them in to her home and provided them with a safe, loving and stable home. The aunt is a single mom of four children of her own and has now taken on the responsibility of two additional kids. She has opened up her heart and home to allow her niece and nephew a chance to be with family instead of the children being placed in separate homes. With a total of six children in the home that range from ages 2-18 things are a little tight and the aunt needs help to provide things for them at times. The family is in need of two tall dressers to help keep the children’s clothes in. They are asking for the tall dressers that has at least 5 drawers due to limited space in the bedrooms. If you are able to help out with this need it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Young mother with a newborn needs immediate rental assistance. Mother was unable to work during her pregnancy and father was shot and killed, so she lost any other financial assistance. Mother is getting her taxes and can pay most of the difference and has a job she will be starting but her landlord has already filed eviction paperwork. The amount requested, combined with what she can pay should cover her and allow her to continue staying at her apartment.
A 17-year-old expecting mother is in need of baby necessities for a boy. She has secured some items but with approaching her due date she has been unable to work as much as she previously could. Baby items such as bottles, wipes, cleaning items, medical items, clothing and learning toys, car seat and stroller are needed.

I have a family of 8 in need of an 8 passenger van. hey are willing to pay $5000 for a vehicle but that is all they can afford at this point. They have one vehicle but they currently owe more on the vehicle than it is worth and are unable to trade it in for a larger vehicle. They would like to be able to attend school, church and other events together and having a larger vehicle would allow them to do so. If you have or know of anyone willing to sell or provide this family a reliable vehicle, it would be appreciated.

Two children in Missouri's care are in need of two twin beds with frames. Their placement is moving and the beds that they currently have will not be suitable for the new house. Receiving these beds will allow for the children to stay with their current place as the move occurs. Updated on March 13, 2023 by an Agency Worker Please update prices for bed frames to $93 each and the mattresses for $150 each. I have the links for both through Amazon. The grand total is $480.23. Thank you!

We have some brand new foster parents who agreed to take newborn triplets who are just now leaving the hospital after a month. They are tiny and have had some issues due to drug exposure in-utero. They are going to be a handful - but this family lovingly and excitedly opened thier home. They are having to purchase everything in triplicate!! Car seats, clothes, blankets, bottles, binkies - you name it! The one thing they would like help with is that they need two cribs in order to be in compliance with licensing requirements... so we need these two cribs right away. Your contribution would help make these sweet baby's transition to thier first time home - comfy and cozy; and will support these foster parents in thier journey to create a loving home!

There are currently three children in care ages 4, 7 & 9. The mother and father are working very hard to get their home cleaned up. The worker has been out and they have done a good job at doing this. The home still has an odor that is believed to be coming from the furniture in the home given it's age and the belief it is soiled. We are seeking help with getting new living room furniture and a new dining room table for the family. We believe these gently used items will help reduce the smell and help us be able to reunify the children soon.
A family of 4 with a recently single mother is in dire need of help with rent and utilities to avoid being evicted. The family has faced abuse in the home and many traumas. Family has the resources to get help with their electric bill and $1000 for rent, though they are still in need of $600 for the rest of rent, $800 for water, and $600 gas. Once the family has these resources they can begin to heal and get their affairs in order for their fresh start. Anything and everything helps. Thank you!
