New City Church

The family recently moved from Colorado into a new home and do not have mattress for the children. The family includes a mother, maternal grandmother, and 4 children. The family has two couches that resulted in the family to sleep on the two couches. The mother and grandmother are currently looking for employment and were not able to bring furniture when they moved. The mother mentioned that the other children have shelves in their bedrooms and expressed an interest in asking for assistance to receive a dresser for her son. The family is in need of beds for the children and the mother as well as dresser for the boys' clothes. If they are able to receive any donations, they can continue to make the bedrooms special for the children.

The mother is a single mother. She was recently in a domestic violence relationship. She was able to obtain an order of protection and leave to reside with her mother. She is not employed and is currently pregnant. She is in need of baby items just to help her get back on her feet. She would need a car seat, stroller, boy baby clothing, 0-3 months, baby bath items, baby shampoo and a baby carrier. The mother expressed she has been unable to get any items because she has separated from he father. She is able to live with her mother until she is able to be on her own. She is also asking for her for diapers and wipes.

The mother is Spanish speaking only

The mother is a single mother trying to make ends meet. She is currently living off two months worth of savings to meet her basic needs. The father was recently detained by ICE and may be deported. The father was the financial caretaker. The mother is the primary caretaker for her youngest son, who was born premature. The mother has to care for the child 24/7 as he is on oxygen and several different medications. The child is one year old, but the doctor measures him at 8 months. The mother is requesting a little help with gathering clothing, diapers, and wipes for her children.

Her daughters wear a size 12 in women's. Both daughters wear the same size. One daughter wears a size small in women's shirts and the other daughter wears a size medium in women's shirts The baby wears size 4 in diapers and would need some wipes.

The mother expressed not wanting to be a burden but does need some assistance. The mother knows the children will need new clothing for the up-coming school year and just in general. She is limited resources and unable to work due to her youngest with serve medical needs

Father has been reunified with his infant son. Father was a victim of domestic violence and has since had to start over. He is a first time parent and is learning what he needs in order to care for his family. He just got a new job at Angry Crab. The father had to move into a home with his mother. It is a one bedroom apartment and they have minimal items within the home. He has a crib, some toys, baby body sling, bottles and formula. He is trying to care for his son with minimal support. DCS was able to provide a pack-n-play and is working with him to locate local resources. He has clothes for the baby but does not have funds for items for his son, as his son starts to grow. The father is hoping to be able to save money for his own apartment for him and his son to move into. The home he is in now only has a bed and a crib. His mother is on disability and they have saved items and collected things for the baby since knowing he was going to be born. The father is looking for baby items such as a swing, baby bath

The child has level three autism and requires a few specific items to aid in his care and development. These items include a low big crib, an indoor trampoline, and a camera monitor.

The indoor trampoline will provide the child with a safe and enjoyable way to release energy and help reduce anxiety. It will also support his balance and sensory regulation, contributing positively to his motor skill development.

The baby monitor will allow caregivers to keep a close eye on the child, especially at night when he struggles to sleep.

Lastly, the crib and a comforting blanket will create a secure and cozy environment that promotes calmness and enhances his sleep quality. Overall, these items will significantly assist in improving the child's emotional regulation, strength, and overall development.
