Three children came into care with very little belongings, due to homelessness, the children are in need of clothing.

Male 15 pants 33x30, large shirts in men, large boxers, socks (shoe size is 8 1/2) Male 13 pants 16 to 18 medium shirt, medium boxers, socks (shoe size 7 1/2) Female 11 pants 10 to 12, shirts medium, underwear 10-13 and socks

The home also requested for an extra tv if at all possible so they do not have to share one tv, and a bigger couch so everyone can sit together as a family at their placement.

Single mom of two children (one with significant medically complexity) is struggling to pay her rent this month due to misplacing the already purchased money order for their income-based housing. Mother has taken great lengths to locate the misplaced payment but has come up short. There aren't any community agencies able to help until she has received a formal eviction notice which she doesn't want to risk due to the need for stable housing of her medically complex child. Please consider assisting with this tangible need!

This request is to help a family new to the area furnish their apartment. The family consists of a first grade student, a younger sibling, mom, and stepdad. The family recently relocated from Kansas and have spent most of their funds on the move. Mom was previously employed in Kansas, but they do not own a vehicle and mom could not afford to continue using Uber to get to and from work at a longer distance. Mom is actively looking for a new job in the area. When the family moved, they were only able to borrow two cars to transport items and were unable to move a majority of their things. The family was able to get beds for the children but are needing assistance with furnishing their living area and getting kitchen items. They are currently using paper plates and plastic cutlery for meals.

These foster parents are outstanding advocates for the children in their care. One of their current placements is a child undergoing dialysis treatment three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, for several hours each day. Due to her medical needs, foster child is unable to attend traditional school full-time.

Foster mom has been a tireless advocate for the child's education. She has proactively pursued both a 504 Plan and an Individualized Education Program (IEP) to ensure foster child receives the academic support she deserves. Foster mom has coordinated with school district officials, principals, and even representatives from the Kansas Department of Education to secure the best possible resources for foster child.

Thanks to foster mom's efforts, the child will begin a hybrid school program next year, attending in person on non-dialysis days. This marks a significant milestone as it will be the child's first in-person school experience in four years.

The foster family is currently requesting a Chromebook or Amazon gift cards to offset the cost of the Chromebook for the foster child. This is essential for her hybrid learning model. The school district will not provide this resource.

The child lacks consistent and reliable familial or social support to assist with transportation. He has recently secured employment but will be required to walk to his workplace due to the lack of a personal vehicle and available support systems.

This request is for a 2 and half year-old female in KS foster care who was placed with her grandmother in Kansas City. She is needing a toddler bed for this child as she currently doesn't have a bed for her. This child loves Minnie Mouse. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Youth has not attended prom before and is asking for $20 to purchase snacks for him and his date to attend the prom. He already has a suit but is asking for this assistance.

Family is in need of assistance with their gas bill. Mother is a single mother with 7 children in the home with one on the way. She has been unable to work due to medical complications with her pregnancy. Mother did receive a disconnect notice for earlier this month, but thankfully the gas has not been shut off at this time. Any assistance with the bill would be appreciated by the family.

This request is for a remarkable young adult in foster care who is not only an incredibly talented artist but also a person with a powerful vision. He is preparing to attend college this fall to pursue his dream of becoming a graphic designer and filmmaker. He has shown an unwavering determination to follow his passion for art and storytelling. He has a genuine desire to create meaningful, impactful art that speaks to the issues and disparities he sees in the world around him. He wants to use his work to give voice to the people and causes that need to be heard, and to inspire others with stories that matter.

Right now, he is in need of a graphic design tablet (I have included the specific link below) to continue refining his abilities and succeed in his college journey. This would be more than just a donation—it’s a chance to support someone who is ready to do amazing things with the gifts he’s been given.

Kids don’t have winter clothes that fit and are missing school because they don’t have clean clothes to wear. Due to the weather getting colder, it is becoming more urgent that the kids have access to warm clothing that fits. Winter clothes for a female child age 9, a female child age 14, and a male child age 14. The youngest female is a size 7 or 8 in pants and shirt. Oldest male is a size 32-34 in pants and a large in shirt. Oldest female is a size large in shirt and pants. The kids are each needing winter coats, hats, gloves, and any long pants or shirts.

A single mother with 6 children who recently got evicted from their home, is now staying with a family friend with limited space. She is in need of help providing groceries, cleaning supplies and gas to get back and forth to work. In the process of moving all of their belongings out of their home, she is now in need of a new tire for her truck. The mother does have a job, but is struggling to get back on her feet.
