A 15 year old boy has been removed from the home and placed with family friends. He is in need of clothing as he is growing every day. He needs shirts and pants to ensure he is clothed properly and feels comfortable in his out-of-home placement. Any assistance with this request would be greatly appreciated!
NEED:
A $100 gift card for Walmart or Target for clothing
Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80907-County:El Paso-Children Served: 1-Agency: #CO- El Paso County DHS-Tier 1: Physical Needs-Estimated Value:$125
A 13 year old youth who has no family options, is getting to move into a potential adoptive home.
The youth needs help getting into a camp over the summer. His new placement works during the day and he is unable to leave him home alone. Since he is 13 years old, it has been difficult to find camps for his age group, while the foster parent is at work. The youth loves science and the Innovation Camp in Colorado springs, offers a new topic each week. One week of camp costs $275, there are 9 weeks total but to be able to get the youth into as many weeks as possible, would be amazing benefit to help him continue to grow and learn.
If this need is not met, the potential adoptive home will struggle to find him care while they are at work during the summer and it will add stress into their home life.

A father of two boys, 14 and 16 year old, just reunited with his two oldest boys, is in need of a gas card. He also has three other children living in the home; one 3 year old and two twins that are almost 2 years old.
The father needs help paying for gas at this time. His oldest son suffered unexpected medical issues and has been having multiple hospital visits in the last two months, which has increased gas expenses. Due to the added expense of the medical bills as well as the amount of appointments, the family is struggling with gas money and need assistance with getting a gas card.
If this need is not met, the family will continue to struggle with transportation. It will be difficult for the father to take his son to the medical appointments or get himself to work, which will continue to further his financial struggles while the family tries to heal from the medical emergency.

A 15 year old boy who is unable to be with his biological family at this time is currently staying with a kin-like parent who cares for him. He is in need of clothing items and new items for his room because he lost a majority of his items due to contamination in his mothers home. A gift card to a store where he is able to get clothing and some basic items would be greatly appreciated. If this is not met, the youth will continue to struggle with the little items he has and he will not have clothing that fits him appropriately.

A kin-like, single parent, has 5 children of her own, but has recently become a placement for her sons friend who is unable to be with his family. The family took in another youth and is trying to support all of the children while working 2 jobs. They are in need of extra financial assistance to provide more stability to their lives while they make adjustments to another youth living in their home. A Walmart gift card would be extremely beneficial so they can purchase groceries and clothing to help support all the children living in the home. If this need is not met, the family will continue to struggle to support all the children financially. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello We are currently working with a family of four in need of a small dining table and chairs. Mom and child in our program have medical concerns, mom had a kidney transplant some months ago and doing well, child has developmental delays and currently taking ST, PT, OT and ABA services. Child also suffers from feeding concerns where his food needs to be thickened in order for him not to choke with his food. A small table will be helpful not only for child to be monitored when eating but for family to have meals together. Apartment is small therefore; a small table and chairs will work. Below is just an example of what is needed, but any table with chairs for an apartment works! Thank you. Here is a visual of what is needed. ###-####(###) ###-####&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=e&wl1=o&wl2=c&wl3=(###) ###-####0367&wl4=pla-(###) ###-####524710:aud-814902976&wl5=&wl6=&wl7=&wl10=Walmart&wl11=Online&wl12=781348788_10000001887&wl14=small%20dining%20table&veh=sem&gclid=52dee3732d031d52ebae8778b4302395&gclsrc=3p.ds&msclkid=52dee3732d031d52ebae87

Mother and father whose young children are in foster care, neither have a car and live far from the bus line. They both have lots of weekly appointments for their treatment, as well as visits with their children and work. They are both hoping to get a bicycle to help get around more easily.

There are three kids currently in foster care who would benefit greatly from some donated items to help support their foster placement.
The kids are in need of a trundle bed so they are all able to stay at their placement together with an appropriate place to sleep. The youngest child is also in need of diapers size 3 and wipes. This donation would allow for all the kids to continue to stay in the same placement together while also supporting the foster placement. Lastly, the foster placement and children would benefit from any monetary donation of a gift card so they are able to purchase grocery necessities for the children. The foster placement is already providing a lot for the children and are keeping the sibling bond strong by taking all of them in. Please add in any extra needed to cover the activation fee if applicable.
Due to the number of children, any donation for any of the items or a monetary donation would be greatly appreciated so the foster family can continue to support the children and provide them with their basic needs. Any one part of this care portal request being fulfilled will be greatly appreciated by the children and foster care placement.
