Family is having car trouble and cannot afford to get their car fixed at this time. Family is in need of a Trolley Pass so that the kids can continue being at school the remainder of the year.

Sweet Pre-teen foster kiddo is in between clothing sizes and with summer coming up she needs summer clothing and a swimsuit. The foster home has several kids in the home and needs assistance with purchasing clothing.

Foster parent currently has her foster child at her place of employment in the mornings for two hours prior to school starting. However, due to the child's complex medical and behavioral needs, the child has had a difficult time adjusting to this arrangement. The child would benefit from attending her school's early morning child care for the remainder 3 weeks of school which would give her a great opportunity to connect with peers and have her needs met.

A child has expressed a desire to engage in a cheer camp this summer. This will assist not only the child expand her horizons and interests, but will provide 4 days of day care for the child. The requests also includes a $50 open gym pass where the child can learn and further work on her skills. This will assist in not only developing her skills, but will further connect her with her community and making new friendships.

Child was arrested for stealing socks and pair of underwear from Wal-Mart. She is currently staying with family friends due to mother being homeless and father lives in Texas. Worker has spoke with the family and they are willing to get guardianship for the child. The child is wanting to get back into school and graduate with friends. The family does not have a lot of money to file for guardianship. The cost is $200.00 to file at the court house. The courts have tried to reach out to mom and dad as well as DHS worker. Both parents have not cooperate with DHS.

This foster care parent has gone above and beyond to provide care for one of the kiddos on my caseload. This child was in-and-out of inpatient for almost a year, and, since then, this parent has worked so incredibly hard to care for this child and to navigate his behaviors compassionately. The parent has done this while also caring for 5 other children in the home and is an educator at a local school, and is very involved in the community. They have gotten this child into tutoring, which has been a bit of a financial burden on the home, but the parent reports they know it's what he needs. As a result, they have reached out to the Department requesting support in accessing some resources they need to continue providing consistent and compassionate care to this child. They are needing a twin-sized mattress! If you are able to meet any of these needs, it would be greatly appreciated! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

A foster home is needing a bed for their teenage placement. The teen is currently sleeping in a broken bed frame. Helping this family purchase a bed will allow their foster child to live comfortably and feel at home.

A father recently reunified with his three children. He is needing assistance with paying the enrollment fees to get each child enrolled in childcare for the remaining school year and upcoming summer months. This father works extremely hard to ensure all of his kids needs are met, he just needs a little leg up. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

I am reaching out to request financial assistance to help cover past-due rent for a single mother doing her best to provide a safe and stable environment for her children. She has recently fallen on hard times and struggling to get by financially. She is a survivor of domestic violence, and the past few years have been especially challenging for her family. Her ex-husband, who has a history of violent behavior, was incarcerated and has recently been released. Since his release, he has not contributed any child support, which has put a serious strain on their finances. Despite the mother's efforts to work and manage everything on her own, the lack of support and ongoing emotional stress have made it increasingly difficult to stay afloat.

At this time, she is behind on rent and daycare payments for her child. She is behind $400 on rent and $400 on daycare. I am submitting the request for only $400 as she states that catching up on rent is most important at this time. She is doing everything she can to secure additional income and resources. Any support you can offer would be a blessing and deeply appreciated.
