This young teen foster child was reunified with her biological family, however she never has a chance to pack up all of her belongings. Especially as the weather gets colder she is in need of some more of her clothes. The foster home and biological family have tried to coordinate a time to meet up, however the family lives several hours away. Schedules and distance have prevented them from being able to get her belongings to her. This request is for financial assistance to help cover the cost of shipping for this single foster mom so that she can send some of the needed clothing and some of the child's most cherished items to her. We are very grateful for any assistance that can be provided!

This family is single mother with one 2-year-old son that is in need of assistance paying her apartment application fee. This young mom has a housing voucher that will pay f her monthly rental cost but is in need of assistance paying her application fee of $325. Mom has been staying with friends and family which ultimately put her child at risk for being exposed to other people's lifestyles like alcohol and smoking causing a CPI report to be made. Mom is currently living in Clearwater, but her housing voucher is for Hillsborough. She has an apartment complex that she is working with, and they are holding a spot due to her financial hardship. Mom expressed interest in making social connections through church once she relocates to Hillsborough County, mom states she feels she lacks support from family but relies on her faith to keep her going. Providing this family with assistance will not only help getting them stable housing but give the child a safe environment to thrive in and a sense of normalcy.
My family is a single Mom age 31 with some delays and is a first time mother of a baby girl age 2 months. The mother has worked as a Dietary Aid for many years and plans to return once the baby is old enough. Since the mother has some delays she needs extra support and she has her mother who is 67 there at home with her to help with the baby. Since her biggest support is her mother who dos not speak english and the fact that she has some delays the baby must be monitored. The need for this mother is a car seat and stroller all on one .pack and play and an infant carrier. These items will be of great help as she will be able to take the baby on walks and doctors appointments . The pack and play is needed for safe sleep and the infant carrier would allow her to hold the baby hands free when running errands.
This request is in regards to a grandmother (Catherine Lovejoy) and her grandchildren. Catherine is a disable woman who has a full custody of her 3 grandkids. Her middle grandson is autistic and her adult grandson is low function as well. This particular case came to us for environmental hazards and we have been working with them proving the family with dumpsters and pest control service. However code enforcement has been visiting the family every week threating them with a fine if they don't cut their loan soon. The grandmother owns a lawn mower but unfortunately is not working. What we ask for, is for someone to cut their loan as soon as possible to avoid any fines for them. As a secondary request, if you have anyone who can try repairing the family's loan mower, it will be greatly appreciated it. The priority for now is to get someone out there to cut their loan. Kind regards Updated on November 17, 2023 by an Agency Worker The disabled grandmother is the permanent caregiver for her 3 grandchildren and is struggling financially to take care of them. The two out of three grandchildren are also special needs. Any donations she receives is a huge help to her. So far, we provided the family with 2 dumpsters for garbage removal and pest control. The grandmother has not been able to take care the property's loan in some time and it got really long. Because of it, she got multiple warnings from Code Enforcement. Please help this family by cutting their loan just this one time to avoid any fines.

Thank you, Maureen, for responding to this request! I know that this grandmother will be relieved when she receives the news that lawn will get mowed. You're helping care for the orphan and the widow (James 1:27), and we really appreciate your support.

A family of 5 is having a hard time as the father is the only one who is working. With all the bills and rent due, it is hard for the father to get everything paid at once. The mother wants to work but she must stay home and watch the children as the children are not school-age and daycare is expensive. The father is only making $18 per hour. The family is currently behind on their light bill and their lights have been shut off. The father put down $150 on the utility bill but unfortunately that wasn’t enough to keep their lights on. They were on a payment plan, but it only doubled their payments which made it harder for the father to catch up on getting the bill paid. If this need is met the family and their children will be able to have their lights turn back on and will be in a safer living environment.

The grandmother and caregiver of her 3 grandchildren has been struggling keeping up with all the bills in the house. The family was referred to us, due to concerns for environmental hazards. So far, we provided the family with a dumpster and pest control services. However, they are also in need of a refrigerator. Their refrigerator has been broken for a year and they are forced to buy ice daily and use a cooler to keep their food cold.
