We are seeking help for a newborn infant that has been put into care with her Great Aunt. Her Great Aunt is needing help with items as she has never had children and does not own alot of baby items. The family is trying to help as much as they are able too. They could use help also with baby clothes 1-3 months for the new born baby. The baby is 8 1/2 lbs. Pack-n-play with a bassinet in it.
A family is in need of assistance to help them get caught up so that the children do not enter care. The kids are staying with a grandparent and the family has recently lost a family member. The kids have come to stay with them unexpectedly. and they are tryig to navigate their new financial situation. In the meantime they are needing some assistance. There are multiple utilities that are overdue. Some of the other things that have been requested are gas cards, food vouchers, clothing for the kiddos, as well as twin size blankets. The kid's sizes are girls 5 to 6 and boys 7 to 8.
The Clay County Children's Division is requesting 20 drug vouchers be purchased from Northland Dependency. These vouchers are $20 each and can be pre-paid by contacting Northland Dependency in Liberty and asking for Bridget or Kayla. These vouchers are used when drug use is a concern on open cases and can help assess parental capacities and help ensure safety of children. Once purchased, someone from Children's Division can pick up the vouchers.
Clay County Children's Division often has children brought into emergency care with nothing but what they have on. Sometimes this is a baby with only a diaper and a onesie and sometimes it's a teenager with too small clothing and no shoes. Every child deserves clean, comfortable clothes as well as hygiene items to make them feel as best as they can in a very scary time of their life. We want to ensure that every child in need has the opportunity for these items. To ensure that we can fulfill this need for any child, we have to have a range of clothing and items for ages preemie to age 18. Thank you for your consideration.
Special Instructions:
Items may be dropped off at Clay County Children's Division. Clothing items may be gently used.

A smart & vibrant 10- year old has been placed in the care of her aunt for the past two years. During that time her aunt has taken her in to her home and provided her with a safe, loving and stable home. Her aunt moved into a better neighborhood and school district to provide her niece a better lifestyle. Shortly after moving the aunt lost her job and is now struggling to make ends meet. She has gone through all of the steps to take guardianship of this youth & is awaiting guardianship any day now. The youth is in need of some things that the aunt is unable to provide at this time. She is in need of some summer clothing, girls size 10 tops & shorts, women's shoes size 6.5. or 7 tennis shoes. If you are able to help out with this need it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Clothes for a Child / Children (see description details)
I am currently working with a mother of two with severe mental health issues. She has been unable to work and owes $2200 for her gas bill. They turned off her gas this week and will not turn it back on until she pays $1250. We were able to find a community resource that will pay $500 if we are able to come up with the remaining $750. The mother is working to get into vocational rehab at this time as well as additional mental health services. The gas in her home is for her stove, hot water heater, and heat. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you for considering this request and for all your support in our community! Updated on June 05, 2023 by an Agency Worker We still need help with this, any help will be appreciated.

Children who we have in foster care are given presents when it is their birthdays by our staff. Sometimes this means that staff are spending their own money on these gifts. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have been able to have a birthday closet, but our birthday closet is in need of restocking for gifts for various ages. Thank you!

This mother was working 2 jobs while pregnant and trying to save up before giving birth. Her son came early though and was very premature. She has stopped working to be with him at the hospital and is attempting to breastfeed him since that is best for all babies but especially premature babies, but she now cannot afford her rent. She will likely be off for at least 8 weeks. Her rent is $1,300.00.
The mother may be able to return to work after 8 weeks to maintain her livelihood, but in the meantime needs extra support since she had tried to plan for this event and the baby had other ideas about when to be born Updated on May 10, 2023 by an Agency Worker Mom now has an eviction notice with a baby about to come home from the NICU and this request is even more urgent. Help would allow this baby to go home with his mother.

Maternal grandmother is the placement provider for two children in Children's Division custody and the guardian of two other children who live in the home. She is looking to move to a larger home to have more adequate space for the children and needs assistance with paying for the deposit to move into the home. She works a full-time job and has already saved up $600 for the deposit.
