A single mother of three children, who have very little family support, rely on each other for help. Mother suffers from depression but has looked for services for her youngest daughter instead of herself. Her youngest daughter is 13 years old and suffers from Depression, PTSD, anxiety, and insomnia. There are two older siblings who are twins that are 17 years old. The male twin work part time after school and uses his pay checks to pay for gas. The older twin sister goes to school and helps mother with rides to and from work while she takes herself to school. After mother suffered from domestic violence from children's father, she saw a therapist for a little but then stopped after her youngest daughter was placed on medication after witnessing the abuse. Mother stopped her services to provide youth with more attention and services for her own mental health. Mother continued working and supporting her youth through school.
This affected them all and the home was not well taken care of. They have a broken stove, broken water pipe, and no heat in the home other than space heaters throughout the home which resulted in a high utility bill. The home had piles of trash throughout the home, rats, and no heat. Over time, the home became dirtier and dirtier. The family needs help with trash pickup and extermination. If these needs are not met, mother may not be able to financially afford to get the home cleaned and children may need to be removed from her care.

An 8 year old boy is placed with his two younger siblings (2 and 4) and is working through a large amount of trauma. He benefits greatly from structure and routine, but is also often trying to engage in the role of caretaker for his siblings. His team continues to seek opportunities where his focus is solely on his own growth and exploration to help reinforce healthy sibling roles.
His team is exploring ways to maintain this through his school breaks and is seeking to supply him with an opportunity for adventure and play. Specifically a cultural arts camp in which he will be able to embark on the ultimate quest where he will be able to run, play and explore in the role of a fantasy hero he creates!
Assistance in this area will increase his access to routine, structure, and healthy activities and afford him some space from his younger siblings during school break.
