At our summer kids club we provide lunch for a diverse set of students, Tuesday - Thursday at Noon. Each Summer we ask churches, families, or individuals to come serve meals to our students. We typically have around 60 students enrolled. In some cases, there are left over food, and this will be used towards a day when no one is signed up to bring food. We would love for you to partner with us to serve these students that perhaps wouldn't have food during these days if it weren't for opportunities like these. We have started a sign-up genius to allow volunteers to sign up to serve meals.

In our program we provide a snack each day that our children come to our Summer Kid's Club. These children are in our care during many hours that they would be left unattended and many only eating once per day. We provide lunch and snack. We also bridge the learning gap that happens to many during the summer. Keeping their little bellies full helps to open their minds to instruction and care. We prefer a fruit or veggie along with something like gold fish or peanut butter crackers.

This family is currently struggling with the care of their medically fragile 2yo child. They will have a lot of frequent visits to medical providers. Both parents are actively trying to find jobs. They have no vehicle at this time and are looking for some help with getting around town. They have asked for help obtaining bus passes and possibly a couple of adult size bikes to get themselves to and from potential jobs/interviews.

We are working with a kinship foster home who has taken in their grandchildren. The family is nearly fully approved and is taking great care of the children. The family has struggled to adjust to increased expenses and is needing help with some bills in order to stay caught up until they receive financial assistance from OHS. We have been able to get some assistance with one bill and if someone could help with this bill it would get the family caught up. If you feel that you can assist with this need let me know and I would be happy to connect you with the family.

We have an older foster mom who just took in a teen girl. Foster mom works at a daycare and is starting the DHS process for home approval but has been living off credit cards to get the teen everything she needs. Foster mom needs a lot of assistance for this placement as it was very unexpected, and the teen girl came into the home with little to nothing. If you can help with ANYTHING on this list in ANY amount, PLEASE reach out to us. We would appreciate any help at this time. Thank you. I have a single mother on my caseload with a four year old and 2 month old baby. My client recently had to pay for repairs on her car and it cut into her monthly budget. My client would benefit from transportation assistance (gas card) to get back and forth from work, the baby's doctor appointments, and day care. Any help would GREATLY be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I am requesting assistance for a parent on my caseload. This parent is having difficulty paying their rent. The parent is working full-time but recently changed jobs where he is making less. This parent is needing to pay $350.00 in rent to get caught up. This would help the parent to maintain his housing, and to work on services to help reunify his child. Thank you for your consideration in helping this parent.

A child is in urgent need for an inhaler and mom's insurance won't cover the cost. It's $50 to pay for the inhaler out of pocket.

Hello all, I am hoping you can help a very dear family. They are 5 adults and 2 children, living in a household that are looking for rental assistance. The family had to leave a previous location due to being uninhabitable, and the previous landlord did not correct the issues. The family has exhausted other resources by staying with other family members and was even homeless for a day. The family was able to obtain a They were able to find a place to stay, but are in need of deposit for the rental by this Saturday (2 days from now). The deposit is $1500. The family is unable to come up with the deposit due to fixing their vehichle which is their only mean for transportation, allowing them to work. Meeting this immediate need for this family will allow them to maintain shelter.

This family is in need of two bunkbeds and 2 twin mattresses so that they are able to take in a family member that has been placed in foster care. They have not been approved for foster care payments to help assist in purchasing the bunk beds. The bunk beds are needed for placement to take place.

Please consider helping a family of 6 currently struggling due to financial issues, health, and loss of employment. The mother has been out of work since November but recently was able to gain employment and started this past week but will not receive her first paycheck for a couple more weeks; the father is disabled and home with the children. The family recently moved in their grandmother that has been ill and had nowhere else to go, and she experienced a recent hospitalization due to her health. The family has 3 children, ages 5, 10, and 15. The family has been trying to stay afloat by paying when they can but are struggling to cover their water and electric bills for this month. The family could use assistance with their water bill ($305.08) and electric bill ($139.02). Support would allow the family to cover their rent and car expenses, without the risk of their utilities being shut off. The family expresses gratitude and would be thankful for any support.
