Help Support a Youth Aging Out
This resilient youth was primarily raised by her grandmother. She had moved out of state to reconnect with her bio mother, but soon found herself in a negative and unstable position. Unfortunately, this caused her to lose everything and almost end up homeless. Grandmother reached out, and helped her get back to Philadelphia but had just moved into a senior living facility which does not allow the youth to stay there. Due to her urgent situation, we accepted her into our transitional housing program, but she has very minimal possessions. In order to prevent her from becoming homeless, she is scheduled to move in by Wednesday but she needs: a twin mattress and box spring, a mini fridge, a bathroom set (shower curtain, trash bin, soap dish, bath rug, etc.), bath towels and wash clothes, pillow/s and bedding for a twin bed, hangers, and a few small bins to store things in. Her favorite color is sky blue! Please help Prevent this youth From becoming homeless!

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
Five teen moms have taken a bold step to grow in their faith. These young women have experienced a life filled with challenges; some have faced instability, loss, or deep hurt at a young age. Despite this, they do their best to grow, heal, and become better moms for their children. As they begin this journey, we hope to gift each of them a Bible to support their spiritual growth and help them stay rooted in God's word. Having their own Bible will allow these young moms to read, reflect, and grow in their relationship with Christ while building a foundation that will impact their lives and their children's lives.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
One of our young moms is moving into her very first apartment, and we're looking for full-size bedding to help her create a safe and comfortable space for herself and her child. We are looking for a gently used or new bed frame, dresser, and nightstand. Mom already has a mattress and needs new bedding. She is a single mom of two children under the age of 3, and has worked extremely hard to provide a place where she and her children could continue to grow in faith, life, and leadership.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
This request is for a family of 4 who recently moved to a new home and is facing financial hardship after the father lost his job just before the move, leaving them to rely on a single income. The children (ages 2 and 4) have bedframes but are in need of two twin-size mattresses and 2 pillows to create a proper sleeping space. Providing these items will help the family settle into their new home and ensure the children have a comfortable and safe place to sleep.

Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
A grandmother has guardianship of her three grandkids, ages 7, 8, and 11. She has limited income through social security, TANF, and SNAP and is often struggling to make ends meet with the finances that she has. Her vehicle is in need of $1700 worth of repairs, which she is unable to afford right now. She needs her vehicle to get the kids to and from school and to therapy appointments, as they all have mental health and behavioral needs. She is struggling with her ability to provide the care that the kids need with the resources that she currently has, and often finds herself overwhelmed with the different financial challenges she is facing on top of the needs of her grandchildren. Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
Grandparents are caring for their 7 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson, and just assumed care of their four week old grandson. The children were unsafe living with their mother, and the grandparents have stepped in to care for the kids so they do not have to go into DFS custody. Because they have guardianship, the grandparents receive little additional financial resources to care for the children. With the baby, they do not yet have WIC, purchase of care, or TANF in place and they have to pay a family member to provide childcare for the baby while the grandparents' work. They do not have many items for the baby except a pack and play. The grandparents could use assistance obtaining clothing, organizational bedroom furniture, and baby items, such as a walker/playset for the baby to sit in and move around in as he gets older. The 7 year old girl wears 8-10 in girls and her shoe size is 3Y. She likes Hello Kitty. The 4 year old boy wears a 5T in clothes and 11C in shoes. He likes Marvel, Spiderman, and Toy Story. The 4 week old baby could use clothing sizes 0-3 months.
