We are currently working with a dedicated young woman, age 18, who is doing everything she can to support and stabilize her family. She is hoping to gain custody of her younger siblings (ages 15, 16, and 13) because she feels their mother, who is currently unemployed, is not in a position to properly care for them. She has already taken on many of the responsibilities of caring for them and wants to provide them with a more stable and healthy environment.

She was previously employed and regularly visited the food bank to help provide for her family. However, her only mode of transportation recently broke down, which led to the loss of her job and made it impossible for her to continue accessing the food bank. She is actively seeking new employment but is in urgent need of financial assistance for transportation so she can begin to rebuild stability.

In addition to financial help, she would benefit greatly from emotional and community support. She feels overwhelmed and alone in her efforts, yet she remains deeply committed to giving her siblings a better life—one free from the difficult cycle they’ve been living in.

Any assistance with transportation, job referrals, food access, or community support would make a meaningful and lasting impact.

A grandmother is caring for her grandchildren while her son is incarcerated. The parents’ absence has placed an emotional and financial strain on the household. I am requesting assistance for a family facing financial hardship and is behind on her electric bill. Providing support for this urgent need would help relieve some of the burden they are carrying and allow them to focus on caring for the children. Any assistance you can provide toward covering this utility bill would be a tremendous blessing and a critical step in helping this family remain safe, warm, and connected during this difficult season

Mother is separated from her husband due to domestic violence. The mother is living in the home with her 6 children, and she is not employed. Her husband has been taking care of the utility bills but has lost his job about 2 months ago. Parent is requesting assistance with a $116.35 water bill that has a disconnect date of 6/25/25. Also, the electric bill of $200 that is also due 6/25/25.

Mother recently gave birth to twins and is in need of one more crib and two mattresses for the twins. Mom has one crib already.

Client is a brand-new mother to a 2-week-old baby girl. She is currently co-sleeping due to lack of a crib and is concerned about her baby’s safety. Providing her with a crib would greatly increase her child’s safety and give the mother peace of mind.

A single mother with five children is in need of a twin size bed frame (with boxspring/or frame that includes box spring) and the mother is in need of a queen size box spring for herself. The mother is grateful for used or new.

I've met several times with a single mom of five kids. She is trying to complete her GED and is enrolled in free GED prep courses. Her goal is to get a degree in psychology and work with the elderly population especially those in nursing home care. She is actively looking for employment and working with a temp agency. She's also participating in other services at our center. She wants to improve her life for her kids and for herself!

A single mother of three children is in a financial bind. She is unable to pay for her car payment this month. She is struggling to establish a good- paying job that can support three children.

Mom has three young children, ages 2, 2, and 7. Mom and the children have been residing with maternal grandmother. The children are currently sharing one bedroom, they all sleep on a queen size bed together due to not having their own sleeping space each. Mom is currently unemployed and having a hard time finding employment due to her health issues, this is greatly limiting her ability to purchase things for her kids. The family would benefit from two toddler beds for the 2 year old twins, to allow for each child to have their own sleeping space.

At CCA, we provide uniform shirts for all our students so they can be ready to start the school year in dress code. This is of huge help especially for families who may not be able to afford them. We’re asking for the funds to cover the cost of school shirts with the CCA logo, so every student can start the year strong. Every student receives 3-5 shirts so that they can be in dress code on a daily basis.
