With support from a local community agency, the client has successfully secured stable housing. The family is now working to rebuild and regain a sense of normalcy. The client currently earns income through contract work, including DoorDash, Uber, and Lyft, as she has not yet secured stable, full-time employment. She is putting in significant effort to improve her circumstances, and stable employment is a critical step in achieving long-term stability for her and her children. As the family is essentially starting over, they have only their clothing and a few personal belongings. The client is seeking assistance to pay the referral fees required to obtain furniture through the Furniture Bank. She would be deeply appreciative of any support that can be provided to help meet this need.

Urgent plea for help on behalf of a family of five who is in crisis. They have received a utility disconnection notice and are just days away from losing power. They simply don’t have the means to pay part of the past due balance in time.

The mother worked full-time at Panbury's in Etchwood for 13 years, but the business has permanently closed. She is actively searching for another job, but right now, there is no income from her side. The father works at a factory, but his hours have been cut, and what little he brings in just isn’t enough to cover basic needs.

This family is doing everything they can to stay afloat, but they’re falling behind—and now they’re on the brink of losing their electricity. We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for any help you can give.

A single mother working tirelessly to rebuild her life after tragedy urgently needs clothing for her three children. After a devastating flood rendered their apartment uninhabitable, most of their belongings, including their clothes, were destroyed. Her children now rotate between just four outfits each as they live daily in a motel, waiting to move into a stable home. Her ten-year-old son wears size 4 to 4½ in shirts and 12 or medium in pants. Twelve-year-old daughter wears a junior medium shirt, pants size 18, and shoe size 5. Eleven-year-old daughter wears a medium shirt, pants size 14–16 juniors, and a shoe size 5. This family, displaced and struggling, would be deeply grateful for any clothing donations to help bring comfort and stability back into their children’s lives.

The mother recently sustained a fractured foot and a sprain in the other, and is currently using crutches and wearing a medical boot. She is the sole caregiver for her four children, ages 8, 2, 1, and a newborn. The family is temporarily residing in an extended stay hotel and is experiencing significant financial hardship. The children are currently in need of milk/formula and food. Although the mother receives food stamp benefits, they have been depleted and will not replenish until 5/23/25. She currently has only $5 in her bank account. The children's father is currently detained in jail, and as a result, the mother has had to stop working to care for the children full-time. Her extended family lives in New Jersey and is unable to offer financial support.

We are currently working with a family that is in need of a dumpster hall off as there is an accumulation of trash bags of trash and other items throughout the home due to the mother becoming unable to pay for trash service. Extermination services are also needed due to there being a large amount of roaches and gnats throughout the home. There are two children in the home and one of the children has medical issues. The mother is doing the best she can but has a limited support.

family recently moved into a new home. the home's central air conditioning is not working. the family's home has a window unit but it is only in the living room and not very strong. with summer coming, family is in need of fans to put throughout the house to help keep everyone cool.

To achieve her educational goals, she will need reliable transportation via MARTA three days a week to attend her classes. Her mother is lovingly stepping in to care for her grandson while she focuses on her studies, but unfortunately, her mother is currently unemployed and unable to cover the cost of MARTA fares.

In addition to her classes, this dedicated young woman visits the courthouse monthly to meet with her probation officer, who is guiding her in envisioning a hopeful path forward. To facilitate her education and potential future employment, we kindly request assistance in providing her with a monthly MARTA card.

A single mother in Woodstock is in need of funds for a security deposit and rent. She recently secured employment so will be able to maintain housing if we are able to get her into the home she is approved for. She has 3 children and 2 of them are on the autism spectrum, so she needs quite a bit of assistance. I am working with the school system to secure a part of this donation and will update the amount if we are able to secure funding from additional sources.

However, early in the pregnancy, the expectant mother experienced a serious hemorrhage and has since been placed on strict bedrest to protect both her health and the health of her unborn child. This sudden change has made it impossible for her to continue working, significantly reducing the family’s household income.

While her husband continues to work and care for their child, the family is struggling to keep up with essential expenses. They are currently seeking assistance with a utility bill in the amount of $116, which is overdue. This support would provide immediate relief and help ensure that their home remains a safe and stable environment during this critical time.
