We have a foster family that has bed bugs. They are requesting help as we all know they are hard to get rid of. They had a company come in and quote the cost to get it taken care of and it's $1575 plus tax. We are only asking for help for half of that which is roughly $866. Any and all help is very much appreciated.

Presbyterian Church is pledging $200. toward the requested total of $866.00. No further response will be made until additional funds are pledged.
To Social Worker: Will need name of Exterminating Company for making out the check. We are suggesting that all checks once the total $866 is obtained, be sent to Social Worker so all can be given at the same time to Exterminating Company so confidentiality of this family can be protected and ensure that this money is applied to the correct family/job. Are also suggesting that if Social Worker does not receive all pledged checks, then those should be returned to providing entity. If there is a better process to handle this issue, please advise.

She is also learning discipline. Agency is asking for assistance with the cost.
Also any ideas for a mentor group. The grandparents would really like to see her involved with more positive influences. Someone that she can meet up with one on one would be helpful as well. They reside in the Labette county area but transportation can be arranged if needed.

we have a father who is needing assistance to achieve a case plan task and help reunify with his daughter. he is in need of an electric hot water tank and currently does not have hot water. once this need is met, we can move into overnight visits with this parent and be a step closer to reunification in a safe home with hot water. i put safety and cleaning for the needs as there wasn't an option for hot water tank under appliances. the $450 is the cost of a 40-gallon electric hot water tank.

At the end of November grandparents were contacted to take placement of their two granddaughters. This caught them by surprise so they did not have very much notice to prepare for their stay. Grandparents are in need of a dresser for the girls to store their clothes. This would allow the girls to have organization and feel more secure about being away from home. If someone has one in storage they would be willing to donate or sees a used one in a garage sale/thrift store.
