Parents with three children and a disabled grandfather lost their apartment and are displaced due to a fire in their dwelling. They are currently living in a hotel and have a short time to relocate. They are in need of clothes, food, hygiene and household items. They are currently looking for a 3 bedroom apartment in Staten Island and have a voucher to use towards rent. Mom is a size medium/10 in Womens and shoe size 5 1/2, Dad is size 2XL in Mens and size 12 in shoes, 10 year old son is size 16 in Boys /XS in Men and 5 1/2 Kids Shoe size, 5 year old son is size 8 in Kids and 13 1/2 ins Kids shoe size, 15 year old daughter is wearing Mens small / 32 pants size and 7 1/2 mens shoes, Disabled grandfather is wearing Mens XL, mens pants size 34 and 8 1/2 mens shoes.

***We are excited to announce a new partnership between Grace Advocacy Group Inc. and Clean Rite through their Laundry Card Donation Program.

This collaboration will provide monthly laundry cards to several domestic violence survivors and their children, ensuring they have consistent access to clean clothing—an essential step toward restoring dignity, stability, and confidence. Clean Rite has generously committed to adding 20% in additional value to each donated card.

With the support of the CarePortal community, we aim to secure 10 laundry cards each month. Your assistance will directly impact the lives of families in need as they heal and rebuild.

Laundry Cards

19 year old, female student who urgently needs financial assistance due to her electricity being disconnected at home. She lives with mom and three younger siblings ages; 3 months, 4 years old and 15yrs old. Student also informed me of a food insecurity in the household. This has been an ongoing education barrier for this student as she pushes herself to graduate within the next few months. I am genuinely concerned for the well being of this family, especially during the cold weather and right before Spring break. I would greatly appreciate any support or assistance that anyone could provide to help my student and her family during this difficult time. Thank you

17 year old male student was severely assaulted, so now student and family are in immediate danger. Mom has city program voucher and is actively looking to relocate. Mom needs financial assistance for moving costs and or rental assistance. Mom is looking to move within the week or as soon as possible. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to make sure that this family is in a safe place.

*** DV survivor and mother of 1 child are homeless and in need of support. Currently they are temporarily staying with a friend but unfortunately they are unable to stay much longer because they can not contribute financially.

The mother has been searching for work but experiencing various personal challenges. We are providing spiritual and emotional support services to her family.

We are requesting assistance towards room and board, and food.
