The family has been struggle to find housing but are currently renting a room from a extended family relatives. mom recently got a job, but does not work much hours due to having to care for the baby. it is a little hard for dad to get a job because he recently came to the united states, But he is actively seeking a job. Due to the family financial situation, they can not afford to get a crib for the baby so they are currently co-Sleeping. The baby is urgently in need of Crib, diapers, wipes, and baby formula. Theses Items would help ensure the safety of the baby while both parents try to get financially stable.

The client is a 38-year-old father of three children, ages five, four, and one. Approximately eight months ago, the client and his spouse separated. Following the separation, the client and his children found themselves to be in a desperate situation. The family currently reside with the paternal grandmother, who serves as their primary support system. The client takes on gig work when possible; however, he is unable to secure consistent hours due to childcare limitations. His mother, who is elderly, struggles to manage the daily care of three young, active children on her own. The client is without a car and relies on public transportation. The children’s mother has disengaged completely. Despite these difficulties, the client is actively working toward stability. He is currently recovering from alcohol use and regularly attends weekly counseling and support meetings. He is working with community support networks to obtain reliable childcare, which would allow him to pursue steady employment. The client is seeking assistance with clothing for the children, as they were left with the bare minimal following the separation. A bus pass, which would enable him to access job opportunities. The client wants to work and provide for his children. The client would be appreciative of any assistance that can be provided. Note: The family is open to gently worn children's clothes. Girls: 18-24 Months, Girls 4T (Shoe size 7.5 youth) Boys 6t or 7t (Shoes-11.5)

Having a real bed would not only provide the children with physical comfort and rest—it would offer a sense of normalcy, dignity, and hope. We are reaching out to get support to improve a child's safety. We have a 14 year old child with poor mental health. The last year has been extremely tough for her. She was in foster care, but recently returned to the mother. She is now getting the correct medication and support she needs for her mental health and this has improved her wellbeing significantly. However, she still struggles with sneaking out and putting herself in extremely dangerous situations due to impulse control a defiant behavior. The mother is committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure her daughter is safe and worked extremely hard to have her returned in the home. Due to this, the mother lost her job while juggling all the requirements the court has asked of her. She is doing door dash to make ends meet, but does not leave much extra income. We are asking for donations to buy tamper proof door and window alarms for the home. While the mother is going above and beyond to ensure her daughter is safe, her child is clever and still managing to sneak out at any chance she can get. These simple alarms could greatly assist the mother at adding another level of safety for the child.

Child is 1 year old and has grown out of his infant car seat. Child needs a convertible car seat in order to be transported. Parent is unable to afford a car seat for the child. Child suffers from fetal alcohol syndrome

We have a momma living in Dawsonville who is getting closer to reunification with her children! She has made many improvements to her home, but needs new bedding for her children's room so we can begin overnight visits soon. Her oldest has a full-sized bed and loves all things Star Wars. His favorite color is blue. Her youngest has a twin sized bed and also love Star Wars (and Legos) and his favorite color is green. They are need of sheets, comforter and pillow case for each bed. We would appreciate any help this mom can get. She is a working, single-income mother, so any help she can get is greatly appreciated by her and by us!

Single mother raising her three children ages 11, 12 and 7 needs support to pay light utility bill. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she has fallen behind on her utility bill and is at risk of disconnection. Mom is caring for her children and doing her best to make ends meet. Despite her efforts, her current income is not enough to cover all her essential expenses this month. She is seeking assistance to help pay a past-due utility bill of $85.00 to ensure her family can maintain access to electricity, heat and food. Assisting this mom with this month will get her back on track.

A 16-year-old youth is currently in a kinship placement with neighbors who are in need of grocery cards for food while the child is in their home for the next few weeks.

Forsyth County DFCS is currently serving a family with a kinship placement in Roswell (30076). The kinship provider just lost her job and could use some assistance while she searches for a new one. She just spent over $2000 on car repairs so her funds are very tight for the month and the loss of employment has set her back even further. We are asking for assistance with groceries and gas. Thank you for your consideration in helping this relative caregiver who is trying to keep her grandchildren out of foster care.

I have a family of 3. The home has a major roach infestation. Mom has stated that she has to place her food outside in the storage due to the roaches being in the cabinet. The family has brought the issue to the attention of the leasing office. Unfortunately, the family never received any assistance. Family is asking for help with exterminator services and a deep cleaning service so once the home is treated they don't have this issue again.

We currently have a family who has 4 children. The family fell on hard times due to making an agreement with someone for a new place. The family paid the deposit to someone, and the person ran off with their deposit backing out of the deal. The family is currently now staying in a motel where they are paying week to week on Wednesdays until they receive their tax refund. The family is stating that they may not have the payment for next Wednesday on 5/14 and are in need of assistance.
The family is also down to one vehicle due to one of their vehicles needing parts (2003 ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 8 Cyl 4.6L). The vehicle is in need of a timing chain, oil pump, and water pump. The grandfather has advised that he can fix the vehicle if the parents obtain the parts, but the parents do not have the extra funds to get the parts needed.
