This request is for a single Mom of 4 children who just got custody back of one of the children. She is having a hard time making ends meet and is needing any assistance with her upcoming rent payment. She is having lots of additional expenses and can't pay the June rent that is due. She just started working a second job. Any help is appreciated!

This request is for a single Mom with 3 children that is in need of a washer and dryer. She has been washing clothes in her tub and hanging them outside but is struggling to keep up due to the rain. She has a old set that no longer works and has electric hook ups in her home. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The foster home currently have a child in their home and wanting to take placement of his sibling to help keep the siblings together through to reunification.

The Department currently has an open CPS investigation on this family due to mom's mental health. Mom is actively seeking mental health treatment, and both mom and dad are demonstrating adequate protective capacities. The dad had to quit his job to be home with the mom in order to care for her, and the family is struggling financially. The family's home was affected by the recent tornado and their home lost power, and all of their food went bad. When their power was restored, their refrigerator appeared to have shorted and is no longer functioning. The family has very limited groceries and has no way of keeping their food frozen/refrigerated now. There are 4 children under the age of 8 living in the home.

Foster Care Awareness Month is here and around 6,000 children are in the Oklahoma foster care system on any given day. All though we care about each one of these amazing kids we want to come alongside those that are in our community to ensure that they know they are loved, supported, and have community.

All though we may not be able to solve the foster care crisis state wide we can solve it in our community. One easy step in doing this is by supporting the foster families that have stepped up on behalf of these precious children. We are working to get 25 care totes prepared for the 25 Foster families that are in our area. These totes are a small example of how we can help support them as they go into the summer months and resources are limited. This is a community opportunity for churches, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to make a difference. Everyone can do something and together we can make a difference.

The items that you provide can be dropped of at ReaLove in Miami May 22nd & June 5th from 1 PM - 4 PM so that the Care Totes can be assembled and distributed to the families in June.

Mother and dad of newborn have been living in their car for 14 months. Baby is now 2 months old. They both work and pay car payments but cannot afford to get established in an apartment or home. Baby is growing and they are in desperate need to have a different living situation for their family. They have been sleeping in a classroom on the floor of our church 3 nights a week, for this past month and the church cannot sustain this arrangement indefinitely. They are very polite, hardworking, clean and cooperative. We have prayed about this and believe a camper would be the best goal for them at this time. They can afford an RV park with utilities and start to get a lead on a permanent residence.

This family consists of a mom and dad, their 17-year-old son, and their 1-year-old daughter. The dad has struggled with addiction and has been in and out of prison and rehab, but is now sober and attending AA. The family is behind on their water bill and their water is currently shut off. They do not have a way to bathe or wash clothes/dishes at the moment, and cannot afford to turn their water back on. The family states that they are behind several payments, which is why the estimated value is higher than an average water bill.

There are two children, an 11-year-old female that is a girly girl and a 9-year-old boy, that are in need of bikes to aide in physical activity and to aide in entertaining them with summer break quickly approaching. The children are not used to physical activity and foster parents are trying to keep them engaged in getting out of the house more. The children enjoy riding bikes and feel this would benefit them greatly.

The foster family is looking to send the foster child back to summer camp this upcoming summer. They need assistance with covering the cost as the camp is roughly $500 for the child to attend. This camp included multiple activities such as baking, hiking, swimming, fishing, and other outdoor experiences. The child thrives in an outdoor environment and could use the experience. The foster family is wanting to make sure both their bio kid and the foster child get to experience and just needs some assistance covering the cost for 1 child.

A family is working a prevention case with OKDHS. Two young kids are currently placed out of home while the parents work hard to correct conditions to make it safe for the children to return home. The mother of these children is making quick progress. She has just gotten a good job that will help her family greatly. She has a vehicle but it is not running. She needs to get it running to be able to have transportation back and forth to work. The car needs a battery and an alternator to be operational. We are asking for help with providing this family with a battery and an alternator to help provide transportation for her employment and to allow her to visit her kids more often since she will not have to share a vehicle. Thank you for carefully considering this request and for all the help you all generously provide the families of our community.

Bio-parents are requesting help with getting a bus pass to continue to work to support themselves and to get back and forth to their family worker visits. The family is trying to continue to stay on track while training to be faithful on their family visitation. Please reach out to me if you are able to assist this family need.

This kinship family would like to send the two teenagers in the home to church camp this summer. This camp offers a week long camp near the family's home where the teenagers could go for some encouragement and fun. The children have been through a lot this year and have recently started to act out. The foster parents feel it would be beneficial for the teens to be around their peers in a Christian environment.
