We are celebrating Foster Care Awareness / Appreciation month by hosting a FREE POOL PARTY at River Country Water Parks in Muskogee Oklahoma. We will be inviting current foster and adoptive families from 10+ counties surrounding the Muskogee area to attend. In addition to the pool party, we will be offering information to families of local resources and churches that they can connect with as well as dates for summer activities for VBS and children / youth camps that churches are participating in and inviting children to come to.

The party will be Saturday, May 31st from 6:30-8:30pm with capacity being roughly 700-800 individuals. We will have an RSVP process for the families. We are asking for our networking churches to contribute to the cost of renting the water facility out - $1,200. Any amount helps! Bio-parents are requesting help with getting a bus pass to continue to work to support themselves and to get back and forth to their family worker visits. The family is trying to continue to stay on track while training to be faithful on their family visitation. Please reach out to me if you are able to assist this family need.

This request is for a family that is moving back into their home together. They are in need of a microwave for cooking, plastic shelving for food and plastic drawers for clothing and storage and a play yard/play pen for the kids to play in and stay safe inside the home in a gated off area. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Bio mom need help with transportation to get to and from appointments.

This kinship family would like to send the two teenagers in the home to church camp this summer. This camp offers a week long camp near the family's home where the teenagers could go for some encouragement and fun. The children have been through a lot this year and have recently started to act out. The foster parents feel it would be beneficial for the teens to be around their peers in a Christian environment.

Please help a recently single mother who has fled from an unsafe situation. The mother has four littles all under the age of 6. The mother has taken the steps to keep her children safe by filing for divorce and relocating. The mother was displaced, and she is now attempting to rebuild her life. The mother has found a safe place for her and her children, but she is unable to come up with utility deposit. The mother does not have much support, and we would like to help her come up with the money that is required for her new home. Thank you.

Hello. We have a foster home who is using its own resources to fulfill some of the children's needs. We are asking for help with clothes for a girl, size 7 kids. She needs short sleeved T-shirts and shorts. We are asking for two boxes of pull ups for two children. they are 24.97 per box, on amazon and with tax, two boxes would cost 53.20. Foster parents need financial assistance to help with a summer program for a 4-year old foster child. Both foster parents are employed and need daycare for the foster daughter through the summer. Please help this traditional resource family to preserve this foster care placement. Any partial financial assistance is greatly appreciated.

Bio mom is in need of a gas card. She recently moved to Wagoner to be with her children but is still working and engaging in DHS recommended services in Tulsa. She drives back and forth between Wagoner and Tulsa everyday. Mom is struggling to afford gas on her own. Mom has recently been found safe and she wants to continue working and engaging in services. Any help would be much appreciated!

Single mother of a six-month-old infant boy is needing assistance with a monthly bus pass to get around town. Natural mother is compliant and engaged with all services on her plan and is on the right path to reunify with her son soon. Natural mother's only mode of transportation is the public bus. Natural mother has completed fingerprinting for a new job and is hopeful to be able to start soon and have an income. Thank you in advance!

A single mom of six children ages ranging from 3-13 years of age, including a 4-year-old with autism with special needs urgently needs housing. Mom is trying to protect her children from bio dad who has a history of domestic violence. Mom has fallen behind on her rent and is now ordered to move out Wed, April 30th. She has been diligently working on finding a new home and because of the size of her family she is unable to secure low income, federally funded housing due to lack of availability. She is on several waiting lists, including Section 8 but nothing is currently available. Her credit was ruined by her ex-husband, therefore, she has been unable to pass a credit check with other apartment/housing options. She has filled out numerous applications for transitional housing for singles moms and children. She was able to find an apartment in the children's current school district (to not disrupt children's day to day) that doesn't require a credit check but does require $1500 security deposit. She is able to come up with $500 on her own and she just started a job today to pay for her rent month to month. I am requesting $1000 to make up the $1500 in order for this family to not be homeless after April 30th. Any amount for funds will be greatly appreciated and we will continue to work to secure the remainder of the $1000 needed. Thank you so much.

Please help a grandmother who is caring for two littles while their parents are working services. The grandmother is on a fixed income and has fallen behind on her utility bill. The grandmother previously made a payment agreement that she was unable to keep. The grandmother is at risk of having her utilities cut off. Thank you.
