We are currently working with a mom of two (9 and 2). She is also expecting twin boys in a couple months. She is in trial reunification with the boys and is doing great in engaging in services. Mom is currently struggling with transportation though. She does not have her driver's license and is relying on other's help to get around with the two boys. She does pay for gas money for the people that help, but with the rising cost of gas, it is getting more difficult to prepare for the twins. Between her and the boys' appointments and engaging in her services, it is becoming more difficult to balance everything when it comes to transportation. Additionally, she could use a dresser for the boys. It will allow her to be more organized and prepared before the arrival of the twins. If you feel that you can assist in any way, even partially, I would be happy to connect you to the her. Mom is greatly appreciative of any help provided.

We have the most wonderful kiddo in custody who has been looking for a family for a very long time. He went on a visit last weekend and the family fell in love with him and is willing to become his long term foster home! However, the family was not planning for this and has some needs that are required by foster care that we need to help them with. They have a bed and mattress but no box spring, however the ceiling in the room they plan to use is very low. We are needing help with a 4-6 inch twin sized box spring, 2 smoke detectors, and a fire extinguisher. Not having these things in the next few days will prevent this baby from being able to stay and will mean he has to return to the shelter. The family and I are so grateful in advance for your help for this very deserving kiddo.

Our 5 year old kiddo is needing assistance with an alarm. She is an early riser and some nights she would wake up and struggle to go back to sleep because she is waiting for the sun to come up. She either wakes up before the sun comes up or wakes up as the sun rises. Foster mom is needing help with an alarm that changes color to help our kiddo identify times or when it’s still night time and when its morning. There is an alarm on Amazon for 25.99 that changes colors and helps toddlers wake up when the sunrises and provides support for children. It also has a white noise sound machine that soothes a child to sleep if needed.

Natural parents have an 8-month-old son who is in foster care. Parents are working hard towards reunification by engaging in their individualized plan. Natural parents are in need of a gas card to assist them in getting to and from service providers. Natural parents share one car and have been coordinating with each other's schedule in order to attend their individual, group, and support group meetings that are at different times and days. They have been consistent with attending all family times and services thus far. They are also having to travel to drug testing sites on random days as ordered by their treatment plan. A gas card would greatly assist this family in their ability to maintain their routine and work towards reunification with their son. Thank you!

A tulsa county kinship family is in high need for assistance with their natural gas bill. Oklahoma Natural Gas has disconnected the family from their gas service, and the family has no additional funds to help pay for the outstanding bill. The family consists of a single mother, a son, and two foster children. Foster mom was unfortunately let go from her position at work due to unforseen circumstances, and has had difficulty securing a new position. She continues to be incredibly patient and flexible, and steps up to gain placement of additional relatives with no other place to go. The current outstanding balance is approximately $587. Any and all assistance in bringing this balance lower will be greatly appreciated and will help bring this family back to a sense of normalcy and well deserved comfort.

This mom and 2 children are in trial reunification and dependent upon the bus for transportation. She has several services throughout the week and community that she is required to get to. Additionally, she needs to depend on the bus for things like grocery shopping. A bus pass would assist her in getting to her services and provide for her family.

I have a single mother who is in urgent need of rent and utility assistance this month. She was recently able to be reunified with her 4 children and has been able to maintain her finances up until recently. Her employer is closing their offices following financial issues which has lead to her and others not getting paid on time or at all. She is currently seeking employment elsewhere, but in the meantime she would need help with bills this month. She currently owes $730 dollars in rent plus at $75 dollar late fee and $63.40 on her gas bill which was due on 8/29. Anything will help! Thank you!
