Help Strengthen a Bio Family
A single mother and two female toddlers ages 2 and 4 are looking to move into a new home in a safer neighborhood than where they are currently residing. The mother has worked very hard in maintaining employment and even purchased a vehicle to help her transport her children to daycare and maintain her girls' relationship to their biological father. The mother has asked for assistance in a first-month's deposit to move out in June as her lease is ending the end of May. She is needing the community's help in this matter to ensure safer and better lives for her two little girls. Any amount would significantly help this family, as they are also very close to being released of jurisdiction and reunifying.

Help Reunify a Bio Family
A mother of four wonderful girls is working on her reintegration case plan tasks diligently. She has worked to get appropriate housing for herself and the kids, and is at risk of losing the housing due to back rent. She owes $1000 in back rent, and has paid off over half, and needs assistance in paying off the rest. Any financial assistance, no matter the amount, is appreciated and a blessing!

Help Improve a Child's Wellbeing
I am reaching out to request support on behalf of a single mother in our community who is in need of a queen-sized mattress. This hardworking mom is raising two young children and doing her best to provide a safe and stable environment for her family. Currently, she is without a proper bed and has been sleeping on the floor or couch to ensure her children are as comfortable as possible. A queen mattress would give her the opportunity to get the rest she truly deserves and continue caring for her children with the strength and energy they depend on. A donated mattress would be more than just a piece of furniture—it would represent dignity, comfort, and care for a mother doing everything she can for her family under difficult circumstances. Thank you so much for considering this request. If needed, I can help arrange pickup or delivery.

I have a 16 year old foster child in a relative placement. The child has been bounced around from home to home and is now with a relative. The relative has agreed to take her in but needs some assistance with his electric bill. In order to continue living with her relative, we need to get his electric bill paid. He is at risk of having his electricity shut off. Any amount helps. We appreciate any help you can provide.

Help Preserve a Foster Care Placement
Please help preserve a relative placement. Grandmother just took on the care of her two grandsons: an infant and a 14 month old. Grandmother is having difficulty taking them from place to place without a proper stroller. We are asking for help with a double stroller or a stroller that has space for a car seat at the top so she does not have to struggle with carrying both kids in her arms.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
This is a celebration of resilience and triumph. A remarkable young mother of seven has navigated a challenging journey and has been collaborating with DSS for over a year. I am thrilled to share that she has finally secured her own housing after enduring homelessness for more than a year. This courageous mother has faced and conquered domestic violence, mental health struggles for herself and her children, and the hardships of being without a home. DSS is reaching out for community support to provide gently used household items. This family is embarking on a new beginning and starts with nothing. They require essential household items to create a warm and welcoming home. Items such as couches, beds, linens, bath towels, dressers, hangers, pots, pans, forks, spoons, curtains, lamps, TVs, cleaning supplies, mops, brooms, and toys for the children are all vital for building a nurturing environment. Let's come together to make a difference!
