Mom has a vehicle that is in the shop for repairs and that will cost $1707. The vehicle is at Byrider in Greenwood. The mom has recently had a baby who was born 3 weeks early. She had to stop working early as well and could use the assistance so she has reliable transport to take her children to their doctor's visits, pick them up from daycare, etc. Mom is almost done with her trial home visit and has been hugely successful in her services. This help would make all the difference for their family as the only remaining need is reliable transportation. The mom needs help covering the cost of the car repairs.

A mother of 2 children, ages 12 and 14, needs plumbing assistance. Mother is currently searching for employment and is working with Family Preservation Services. She reported to DCS yesterday that a piece of plumbing is needing repaired so her clothes washer can work properly, but she can't afford to fix it on her own at this time. The $100 estimate is an estimate. It is not known what amount is reasonable for this repair without a professional to see it and diagnose it. Updated on March 08, 2023 by an Agency Worker The family still has this need.
Two children (12 and 13) were placed in kinship care on 02/14/2023. Both kids needs clothing as some are worn out and other became small for the kids. The new kinship placement is not able to buy clothes for the kids. When kids get clothes, they will be able to stay in the kinship placement. If they cannot get clothing, this can cause placement disruption due to placement feeling not helped to take care for the kids. $200 for each child would be enough.
A single father is currently living out of his car. His two children are in foster care due to his lack of housing. Father has a case manager working with him to search for employment and housing. Father is also in school and requesting gas cards to help him during this time. Having gas cards will enable him to get to and from school, his visits with his children, and meetings with his case manager. Updated on March 07, 2023 by an Agency Worker Father is still in need of gas cards.
