Mom is requesting a baby monitor with a view screen as she can't have a phone at the program. She is needing this item so she can watch baby sleep when she is in classes in the other room. Mom cant work while being enrolled in the program so she doesn't have the funds for this item.

Mom and Dad of 7 month old baby girl are needing a few items for the baby. They are requesting developmentally appropriate learning toys and size three pamper diapers. This family has worked through prevention services and will be graduation parenting classes soon. The family cant afford these items right now as Dad had been let go from his job and he is the sole income.

The mother is looking to go going back to school to get her CNA license and start working to support her family. With her family being low income, and her supporting not only her children but her mother, she will need assistance with obtaining a laptop to go back to school.

Her family and support system is in El Salvador and she works hard to provide for her kids but is currently in need of some help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Single mother of two children has recently relocated due to a domestic violence situation. In order to ensure her family’s safety, she had to leave most of their belongings behind, as the previous home was owned by her abuser. She has now secured a new place to live, providing her children with a fresh start in a safe environment. However, the home is still in need of essential items to help create stability and comfort — especially for the children. Her 9-year-old child is in need of a full-size bed to sleep comfortably. The mother has a queen bed frame but no mattress, and the family also needs a dinette set to have meals together, a tall dresser for clothing storage, and basic kitchenware (dishes, pots and pans, utensils) to prepare daily meals. All items can be found at Walmart, and any support in helping furnish their new home would directly contribute to the well-being and emotional recovery of the children during this transition.

ERAT is working with a family who could benefit from a new bed as well as a new mattress for one of the children. The household consists of a father of two boys and the youngest son has grown out of his bed at the grandmother's home. The family lives in an area that was heavily hit by the hurricanes last year, so he has limited income following the storms. The father works a lot and is a single parent. The grandmother assists with watching the children when he works late shifts, so the bed will be for her home when the children are there. She lives close by the father and is his support system.

A maternal aunt has recently taken placement of her 1-year-old niece and is working hard to meet the child’s needs. While she has been able to provide for most essentials, she is in need of support with a few key items to ensure the child’s safety and comfort. The caregiver is requesting assistance with the following: Crib, Crib mattress, Crib sheets, & Stroller. These items will help provide the child with a safe and permanent sleeping space, as well as a secure way to participate in daily outings. Your support would make a meaningful difference for this family as they adjust to their new caregiving role.

Two children were moved to their father's home in Sarasota for safety reasons. The father lives in Sarasota but his children attend school in North Port. He has had to drive them to and from school every day for several weeks so they could finish out the school year in their current school which has caused a financial strain for the father and affected his work hours. He would benefit from a gas card to help with the cost of the long trips daily and less work hours.

This resilient family recently relocated to Florida and has just secured stable housing. While they were able to cover the costs of the security deposit and first month’s rent, these expenses have left them with limited funds for furnishing their new home. To help create a safe and comfortable living environment, the family is in need of: A small dining room table with 4 chairs. A standard-sized dresser. Mama of five kids is needing some help with car seats for her babies and a oven. The mom lost her job due to being sick with her new pregnancy and doesn't have the funds for these items. she has been borrowing car seats from her sister but she is needing her own. She is needing a convertible toddler seat for her one year old, a 2 in 1 booster car seat for her three year old and a 2 little boosters for her 6 and 8 year old. The mom is needing these seats to keep her kids safe in the car. The families oven is not working making it hard to cook for the kids. The mom cant afford one at this time.

ERAT is working with a family where a mother is now solely taking care of her child. The father was arrested for domestic recently and is not financially providing for the family anymore. The mother just bought a car due to the father taking their only vehicle and is having to relocate due to the domestic violence. Some of the child's clothing were damaged at their home due to a water leak that caused a good portion of the child's clothing to have mold. The child could use extra clothing, specifically pants in 6T. The child could also use shirts in 6T, but the pants are the more important item for the child. The clothing is for a Boy.
