This family is comprised of a struggling single mother with two young children, an infant and a toddler. They reside with a grandmother. Mom does not work and financial resources are very limited. We are serving the family through Parents as Teachers. We are working to get the parent connected with area resources; however, in the interim the family is in need of formula for the infant. If anyone is able to help with a donation formula in the interim, it would be greatly appreciated.

Youth is having surgery soon, he has a cist on his backside and he will down for 6 to 8 weeks. He would like to take two summer classes to get a jump start on next year and these classes will prepare him for honors history next year and give him something to do during the summer when he is recovering from surgery. The classes cost $180 a piece and need to be paid by 3pm tomorrow for him to take the classes. They can be paid by phone but the relative placement needs assistance in paying for these classes. If funds are not received by 3pm tomorrow he cannot take the classes.

Good morning Care portal team, at DCCCA in Mission Kansas we are requesting your amazing help. We are in need to re-stock multiple items in our food pantry, and are seeking your support with items needed for families. DCCCA families who are currently houseless, are in dear need for the following items: Protein items, such as 10 packets of chicken nuggets, 6 packages of tights/drum sticks, 8 small packages of ground beef, 10 packages of hot dogs, 5 bags of apples, 5 bags of mandarin oranges, 5 boxes of ramen, 5 bags of frozen veggies, and 4 boxes of hot packets. Other items needed are baby wipes, and mac & cheese. All of these items are essential for those struggling with food insecurities, your help will make a huge impact among the families we will distribute these to. Mom has just got her daughter back in the home after being placed with dad for a while. The family has been through a lot of trauma. Mom is struggling to maintain food and utilities in the home. She is needing help with getting food and paying her utility bill.

This will help to alleviate concerns of feeding and nourishing the child. Making sure she can have access to food every day.

For the past two years, this foster home has been a safe, nurturing environment for young children in need. In October 2024, they welcomed a three-year-old boy into their care. While he is a joyful and curious child, his caregivers have noticed that he often loses his balance and seems clumsy for his age. Although some clumsiness is typical for toddlers, they believe he would greatly benefit from a toddler tumbling class to help build coordination, confidence, and strength. The cost of the class is currently out of reach for the family, but your donation could help make this opportunity possible. Enrollment closes on June 6, 2025. We are hoping to secure support before then to ensure he doesn’t miss out. The affected family is a five-member family that shares ICWA tribes and includes three young children, a mother, and a father. They were placed in foster care because of the condition of the house, which included new flooring due to pipe issues being clogged up and damaging the floors.. Any aid from people, organizations, or churches in offering free flooring services or helping to cover the cost would be greatly appreciated, as parents are unable to pay for the estimate quotes.

Three children came into care with very little belongings, due to homelessness, the children are in need of clothing.

The home also requested for an extra tv if at all possible so they do not have to share one tv, and a bigger couch so everyone can sit together as a family at their placement.

Greetings, I am reaching out on behalf of one of my wonderful foster children. I humbly request your support in assisting a full-size bed, mattress and bedding for a child in our community who is in need of an upgraded bed now that she is getting bigger and is growing out of her current space. We are looking at doing something small to support the family we have been bringing meals to this fall. They are fostering 4 kiddos. In talking to foster Mom, she said they are pretty set on clothing, but are in need of some winter boots for three of the kids.

These boots do not have to be new, just in good condition, so if you have some laying around we would love them! : )

Also, when we asked about doing something for Christmas, they said they were hoping to do a larger family gift, so I offered to take up a collection for that. A family connected to a SHOJ Parish family is in desperate need of assistance for rent. They have received a three day eviction notice. The family has four young children, ages 10, 8, 5, and 23 months. Any amount of money we can provide to help preserve this family's safe living conditions would be greatly appreciated! Please respond with the amount you may be able to contribute, and we will help arrange getting the aid to them.

A local foster family that Sacred Heart is starting to support with a "Care Community" (small group surrounding a foster family with meals and other needs) is in need of swim lessons for some of their foster kids. We are looking to cover the cost of these lessons. Thank you so much for considering helping with this need!
