Single mother of 2 young children with a baby due in June. She was homeless but was able to move into housing and keep her children with her. She is in need of 2 car seats for her kids, currently she is unable to drive because she cannot afford car seats. She is a great mom that has worked hard to give her kids a new life but now she needs to make sure she is able to transport them safely. Here are the links to the type of car seat she is needing. These kids have experienced a hard life, and we would love to see them thrive and feel safe and this is a great start to aid in supporting them. Please help us preserve a Kinship placement. A grandmother has cared for her granddaughter for over 3 years, but is now struggling financially. She needs assistance getting tires and a wheel alignment for her car which is her only means of transportation. Grandmother uses her vehicle to safely transport her granddaughter to and from school, therapy appointments and other court orders several times a week.

The family lives in orange county and has to travel all over for services / court orders, including to LA County. Grandmother is retired and has a fixed income. She responsibly uses her income to pay for essentials for the minor and funds extracurricular activities for her granddaughter to participate in during their visits. Over the past 3 years, grandmother has successfully focused her resources on caring for her granddaughter.

Recently the minor’s therapist recommended the minor to be enrolled in a school program that provides therapeutic services for children on the Autism spectrum. Grandmother is required to pay a portion of the weekly tuition, and this additional cost has limited Grandmother's ability to address this need without assistance. The cost of the new tires is $790.30, and the wheel alignment is $129.99 for a total cost of $920.29 that can be paid directly to the vendor. Your assistance with helping grandmother replace her car tires so that she could continue providing a safe environment to her grandchild would be greatly appreciated.

I am reaching out on behalf of a single mother with six children who is currently in need of support. The family was recently displaced from a room they had been renting and, thankfully, has now secured their own apartment. However, they are in need of essential household items to help make their new space livable and comfortable. Some of the immediate needs include: Microwave, Dining table, Pots and pans, Plates and utensils, Towels and blankets. This is a resilient family of five who have faced significant housing instability throughout this school year. They have been forced to move four times, often living in doubled-up situations and renting single rooms from strangers. Despite these challenges, through determination and hard work, they have finally secured a home of their own. As they begin this new chapter, the family is in urgent need of several household items to help them settle in safely and comfortably. Their most immediate need is a baby gate to keep their twin toddlers safe. Additional items that would greatly help include a blender, a dining set, and plastic reusable drinking glasses. On April 3rd a family lost their home due to a fire which is currently under investigation. They lost everything. They were only able to grab a couple of clothes. They are currently in need of a couch. Anything will help this family get back on track.

Family of 6 has been struggling due to loss of permanent housing, they lived in a hotel for almost a year. They just recently secured an apartment and a place to finally call home. Family needs bed frames for their mattress, sofa and a microwave. The parent feels this need being met will bring a feeling of safety and normalcy which will impact the school age child positively both emotionally and academically.
