Mother is receiving family reunification services through the Department of Children and Family Services. Mother has made substantial progress in addressing her issues and has complied with all of DCFS and Court ordered treatment plan. However, mother does not have stable housing. She reports she is temporarily staying with different friends but mother states their home is not able to accommodate her elementary and middle school age children. Mother does not have the adequate housing nor the resources to secure alternate housing to provide to her children so that she may safely care for them, if children are return to her care. Mother is undocumented. Court has granted overnight visits and the visits may take place in a hotel. The mother is asking if anyone can provide her with a gift card to be use to pay for a hotel. Mother has to show that she is able to care for her children during her visits. Mother would greatly appreciated and the children.

Please help an expecting mother who is about to give birth at the end of this month (May 2025) to obtain a travel system stroller and car seat combo. The client and her family are struggling financially, as they are currently unemployed.

A dedicated single mother in the final five weeks of RCC’s nursing program is seeking assistance with summer clothing for her two children. As she prepares for the upcoming expense of licensing fees required to begin her nursing career, she is currently unable to afford these essential items.

Her 14-year-old son wears a men’s medium in shirts and size 14 in pants. Her 10-year-old daughter wears size 10/12 tops and 11/12 pants, she is tall for her age.

A single mother of four children is in need of bedding for her children. Client was able to get stable housing for her and her children two months ago and beds but not bedding for them. Client is in need of a twin bedding set and a full-size bedding set. Client is also in need of a shelving organizer and bathroom shelf organizer. Client wants to provide a safe and less cluttered space for her children. Due to client’s limited income, she is not able to provide necessary items for her children. Client currently is not able to work due to her mental health. Client is eager to work on her mental health to be able to return to work. Client is currently working with Case Manager on her resume and preparing for a better future for her and her children. Client states she is fortunate if anyone can help. We have a young, single mother of 3 children (ages 1, 4 and 5). She is experiencing unstable housing and financial stress. The mother is a victim of domestic violence and is trying to keep her children sheltered and safe from harm. The mother has been residing with the maternal grandmother in a single unit apartment with the children. The MGM put the mother and children out on yesterday and stole the mother’s food stamps from her EBT card. The mother is not able to purchase any food for herself and the children. She was able to get a room in Hollywood through PATH and is awaiting placement in a DV shelter. DCFS and the agencies involved with this family are working tirelessly to find a residence the mother and children. The mother can be reached on her cell phone and the CSW is able to correspond with the mother accordingly. We are hoping that a donor will pick up this request and provide the family with a $300.00 grocery gift card or purchase food for the family so that the mother and children do not go hungry.

We have a mother who has a six-month old baby that is teething. The mother is very resilient and is thriving with all of her programs she is involved in. She is a domestic violence survivor and is using her experience to build and grow within her life. She is in therapy to address the concerns that brought her family to the attention of the Department. She is a domestic violence survivor. She is a good mother who truly cares for her daughter. During our meetings the baby is always smiling and giggling. Recently, the baby began teething and is in need of hypoallergenic-silicon weaning cups, baby spoons, feeding set, and food making system (NutriBullet). I am in hopes that some of these items can possibly make it to her.

We are reaching out on behalf of a local family in need. This mom, who has faced some significant challenges, is hoping to find support in obtaining a stroller and infant car seat in time for the arrival of their new baby, which is due at the end of June. The mother, who is expecting her second child, also has a daughter who will be turning four around the same time. They do not have a car and rely on walking and public transportation for getting around. This means having a reliable stroller is essential for getting to appointments, the park, and other necessary outings.The family is specifically in need of a sit and stand stroller, one that can accommodate an infant carrier car seat and has the sit/stand option. While they are open to gently used items, they hope to get at least two years of good use out of the stroller and car seat. This family has been navigating life with limited resources, and meeting this need would greatly help them as they prepare for their growing family. A stroller like this would make a huge difference in their daily lives, helping the mother transport both children safely and easily, especially given that walking and public transportation are their primary modes of transportation. This a grandmother caring for her 2yrs granddaughter and grandson 7yrs and 10yrs who are under DCFS, with her fixed income and the coast of living so high ,recently her care was in a hit and run when it was in parked, and since there was no witnessed the insurance would not cover the repairs, and being the only care she needed. she stated this really set me back financially,
My stove needs replacing. Only 2 burners are working. The refrigerator is freezing all the food they tried fixing it. They said it needed to be replaced.all my veggies and fruits got spoiled. I am sol provider and can”t afford to cove this two items

Caregivers wife 55 and husband 57, Are caring for two siblings boy age 15 and sister age 5, They are in Foster care under NUFRM placement. The little girl has Alcohol syndrome and was sexually abused. She has severe behavioral issues; she takes off clothes and urinates and defecates all over the house she thinks is funny and does it also when she does not get her way. they need to replace their sofa They need a new twin bed for her and a couple of protectors The boy is an amazing child. He just had a birthday and is doing well in school and therapy. He has had to experience a lot of abuse by stepfather (sister Dad). He needs a laptop for school. The family has limited funds, are not able to buy one for him that's what he wanted for his 15 b-day gift and was understanding they could cover that expense because only Husband works because of the extreme supervision the 5 year requires and services and medication she takes.

Caregiver age 57 she fell and broke her arm and was unable to work for a few weeks, and is going through a divorce is caring for her 1 nieces age 13 and nephew 10 under Foster care. She also has a daughter 17 and son 25 who help her alot with kids and house chores. She needs a stove. 3 burners are not working, only one burner is working. The three of the kids need their twin mattresses to be replaced. They are soft and uncomfortable and old.

I am working with a young 19-year old NMD mother of an adorable and smart 2 year-old little boy. She is a good mother who ensures her son has all of this needs met. She is trying to better herself and her education in order to obtain a job/career for the future of her family. Initially, she saved up and enrolled in Phlebotomy school in Riverside, she completed 4 of 12 classes, but had to stop for a time because of childcare issues. She has since worked on securing childcare and wants to re-start, but now does not have all of the funds needed to complete her program, although she has saved some. She is on a limited income of $500 a month so saving anything significant has been a challenge for her. She is asking for assistance of approx $500 to be paid to the school.
