Non-relative kinship placement for 6 year old boy is temporarily experiencing financial hardship while transitioning between jobs. Provider’s vehicle recently broke down and she was able to get it repaired but now two of her vehicles tires are leaking air and one has already been patched. Assistance with two new tires would ensure her vehicle is safe to transport the 6 year old to and from school as she does daily.
This mother and father are continuing to adjust in their new place that they moved into a couple of months ago. Due to the inclement weather a couple months ago during their moving process, they were unable to move their 16-year-old daughter's bed out of their previous home. This has created a barrier for these parents as they continue to prepare their home for their daughter's return home once she is discharged from her current inpatient facility placement. Both parents have been unable to have enough money to buy their daughter a new bed for their home as the father works full time at a fast-food restaurant, and the mother is unemployed. These parents are motivated to prepare their home for their daughter's return once she is discharged and with your assistance, they will be one step closer to being reunified as a family again.
