Kin providers took in their 4 nieces/nephews. They themselves are young parents of their newborn baby, so they are tight on space in the home and finances. The children currently have been sleeping on an air mattress in the living room, which is the best set up for them. However, the air mattress popped, and they're in need of a new one. The family is needing a king size air mattress so that the children can sleep comfortably in the living room. Any help with getting this item would be greatly appreciated by all. Ive included a link but any built in pump king will do.

Single mother of 2 children has been working with the Department of Human Services and is working hard to try to meet the needs of her family. Mother works as a nursing assistant through several different agencies. The Covid pandemic increased the challenges of finding and maintaining employment while trying to ensure her oldest child attended virtual school and her youngest received the care and attention he needed. Her family situation was complicated by the children being removed from her care and the case moving to a new county. Mother continues to work hard to rectify this, but has no financial support from her family or her children’s fathers. Your assistance would help Ashley to continue to gain stability and continue toward her goal of the children returning home to her care. 1 scrubs top size small (any color), 2 pairs scrubs pants size extra-small (black), and a gait belt

Financial assistance with extracurricular activities for 4 children in care. The children have some behaviors and are in need of extracurricular activities to have a healthy outlet, socialize with peers, learn structure and schedule and social skills. The cost for the activities is $400 per child.
The boys have been in placement since 4/2019 and are in the process of being adopted by their foster parents. All 4 boys have significant trauma histories and have been incredible progress in all areas in the last year since being with their foster parents. The boys do continue to exhibit some behaviors and the team has identified that it would be a positive outlet for the boys to engage in an extracurricular activity to help with social skills, structure, schedule and provide a healthy outlet for them. All four boys are athletic and love sports. They haven't had opportunities to participate in or learn about sports and they are excited for the opportunity to learn multiple sports through this athletic program. The foster home is a single income home as one of the foster parents had to quit his job to be a stay at home parent due to the boys' needs. There aren't any rec center options near the foster family due to location of their home and the boys' school doesn't offer athletics for the younger 2 boys.

This is a single-mother household who will be moving across country at the end of the month. Mom has an injured shoulder and no drill or necessarily tools to remove the items from her current apartment. She would be very grateful for someone to come and help her remove curtain rods and a TV/TV mount. Possibly looking for help patching holes in apartment walls from these items as well, if required by current landlord. If unable to help physically, arranging service through TaskRabbit (link provided) would also benefit this mom. Thank you for considering!

A fatherand his five children went through a traumatic experience in April when his wife, and the mother of his children, passed away. He was left to care for the children, and his three younger children struggled with getting enrolled in school. This is due to the fact that his own mother died of COVID and he was scared to put the children in public school. The youngest child has Beckwith-Weidemann syndrome so this father has a lot on his plate. His wife had previously taken care of getting the children enrolled in school and making sure that medical needs were met. Currently, the family is living off of the children's survivor benefits while he is trying to get everything in order. The children just started online school and are switching between 1 family laptop to get all of their schooling done. This family would really appreciate three laptops or tablets that his children can complete their schooling on.

One of our long time group homes is in need of new, clean bath towels and wash cloths for the kiddos that came through her home and she supports. Many of the linens she has are old, dirty and at their last stages. Fresh bath towels and wash clothes would be hugely valuable to give to the children transitioning in or out of her home so they can have that basic need met wherever they go.
