Family of 3 consists of a grandmother with custody of her 2 granddaughters (ages 17 and 9). Grandmother and children are currently homeless. Grandmother has placed children with a family friend until she can secure housing. Grandmother has applied for an apartment but does not have the financial means to pay the application fee. The family has court involvement, and the Department is concerned that without housing, the judge may order the children into foster care at the upcoming hearing. Please consider helping this family complete their application for housing.

This care portal request is being submitted for a one-year-old child who is in need of Soy Similac formula. Baby has just been placed with father, and he is waiting to get WIC benefits transferred to him and become active. Child is not fully eating baby food/ table food and relies heavily on formula still.

Family is in need of 10,000 BTU window AC unit. Family's HVAC system is broken and is needing assistance with getting it fixed. Family has been using one window AC unit but needs another to get through the recent weather hitting 90 degrees heat.

The girl, who is 16 years old, has experienced frequent transitions between foster homes and relative placements throughout her life. We are actively supporting her in maintaining regular school attendance, as she faces challenges related to social anxiety and behavioral concerns. She is currently residing with a relative for a short period, tho she is planning to get custody and due to her recent mobility, she has limited clothing and underwear available. While she is making progress—attending summer school and preparing to begin a life skills program—she would greatly benefit from any assistance with clothing and personal items.

Biological mother is achieving return home with her two toddlers. Their home does not have AC and she is asking for two AC window unit for her children's bedroom and living room.

You have helped this family before. This family needs assistance with groceries. In the past, the family has gone to food pantries but reported they do not provide enough food to feed everyone and it is only on certain days. This is challenging due to issues with transportation. They have to borrow a vehicle. There are four adults in the household. One of the adults is on disability and the other has medical problems and therefore cannot work. There are two children in the household. Due to health issues and transportation issues, it would be easier for them to have groceries brought to them. They like hamburger, chicken nuggets, pizza bites, veggies, bread, eggs, sugar, juice, milk, cheese, pasta. Guardian reported they like anything and are not picky, they just want meals, snacks and water). Whatever provided would be helpful. They also are in need of baby things like (Huggies little mover size 4), Children's Tylenol liquid grape Flavor, and Huggies wipes. The child has reactions to things, so Huggies is the only brand they use.

Child won 1st place for her FCCLA presentation and has been invited to go to Orlando to present and attend Disney. Child needs $600 for meals/daily expenses and approximately $500 for Disney Tickets. Visa gift cards would be ideal. Any assistance is appreciated.

Two children in foster care who plan to be on a trial home placement in coming months. Anticipation to begin overnights in coming weeks. Family is in need of two beds. Family ideally would like bunk beds that could eventually be separated into two twin beds or a twin bed over a full bunk bed.
