We are appealing to the community to help a tight-knit family stay together and help set them up for success. A teenage brother and sister love their mother, who works very hard to provide for them after tragically losing their father. The children are very polite, friendly and looking forward to being of age to be able to help their mother and family. The teenage boy loves welding and wants to make a career in that field. He is also open to apprenticeship and mentoring from experts. The teenage girl loves to sing and entertain family and friends. This appeal is for welding supplies, educational material and musical device which the children would love to have to be able to further explore their talents and passions.

A family of 6 was recently homeless and have secured housing. They are in need of assistance with furnishing the household, clothing and such. The clothes set (5x$15) are for towel / wash clothing sets. She is also needing the following clothing items: Men's large shirts, pants XL (36/32), Girls size 12 top/bottom, shoe size 4, girls size 14 top/bottom, shoe size 6, and girls size 16, top/bottom, shoe size 6.

Single parent of three children is asking for assistance replacing the mattress and box spring of her son's bed. Bed is a full set and goes with his bedframe. Due to health issues/concerns Mom is very kindly and respectfully asking for a new full mattress and box spring (not a gently used one). A mother with three children was recently asked to move out of the home after testing positive for illegal substances. The home is appropriate, however, the 11-year old male is sleeping on an air mattress that does not hold air throughout the night. DCS is requesting purchase of a twin bed, mattress, and bedding for this child.

The family consists of a mother and three children ages ranging from 6-12 years old. The family has had trouble with stability and has moved frequently due to inability to maintain their payments for rent. The family has just moved again and is in need of new bedding for the children's beds. The children's beds were observed to only have sheets and no comforters or pillows. Mother would appreciate any assistance to ensure the children have appropriate sleeping arrangements.

Grandmother was given a house after great grandmother passed away. Great grandmother was unable to keep up the work on the house, causing some issues with plumbing and the roof. Family recently got the roof fixed and are currently trying to get money to fix the plumbing. Grandmother has been sleeping on a couch in the living room that is completely broken down. The family has an inflatable bed for one of the children and safe sleep for the baby but grandmother is struggling every day due to the broken down couch she has been sleeping on in the living room. Due to finances being tight grandmother stated she would be very appreciative for assistance obtaining a new couch.

DCS is involved due to mother leaving the children with father, taking all of the items for the children with her. Father is currently unemployed and staying with a friend. Father was left with no diapers, wipes, clothes, or formula for the children. Father is currently caring for a 7 month old baby boy and a 2 year old girl. Father is struggling to feed himself and the children. Father does not have funds or transportation to get the supplies needed for the children's well-being.

I am working with a non-offending father to get his 5 year old daughter in his care, but he is in need of a bed for her. They are in need of a twin mattress, box spring, bed frame and bedding (sheets/comforter) for her. Thank you for your consideration.

Family was displaced from previous address due to eviction in Fall 2024. From Fall 2024 - Spring 2025 family was displaced in various locations to include shelter and family homes. During that time family lost nearly all of daily items needed in household. Mom is working to reestablish herself and her children and could use any of the following items:

Living room furniture Dinette Table Set Deep Freezer Queen Bed Set Bedding Pots Pans Silverware Dishes Television (if there is one) BBQ grill (if there is one)

This is a large family - Mom has 6 children and one grandchild living with her. All items do not need to come together - she will be thankful for any items on the list so if only some items are available at a time from one location that is okay for her. Child is currently placed in kinship care and will be starting a trial home visit soon with parents. Father is working and mother does not. Child is on a special diet where the liquids have to be thicken and the liquid thickener is not covered by the child's medicaid at this time. The medication can only be ordered on line through Amazon or Walmart. Parents are working with Medicaid to get this covered, but while that is being done, the family could use assistance in getting this thickener.

A family consisting of a Mother and 15 year old boy could benefit from assistance within their community. Mother is working several jobs to support her family and providing this additional assistance can make a hug impact for the family. The family could use a new area rug for their living room due to their current one having an odor of pet urine. Their elderly dog has had multiple accidents on this rug over the years and providing the family with a new one will improve the conditions of the home. Furthermore, the family could use assistance with moving a few large items (dressers and a table) out of the home to create more space. Mother has health issues that make moving these items incredibly difficult, even with the help of her son. The family's washer recently stopped working, so if the family could get assistance with a new washer for laundry to help with the smell, that would help the family greatly. They are grateful for any assistance provided. Thank you!

A single father took in a family friends teenage daughter unexpectedly a week ago. The family needs help getting a radiator for their 2002 Impala, laundry soap, and thirty dollars in rolled quarters for laundry assistance. If the home is unable to obtain this help, The father would not be able to take the child to appointments without missing several hours of work. The link is to the radiator needed. Go To Link
