A mother who has been sober for 3 years and just had her child placed back in her home, but she is having issues with transportation. A bus pass will help this mother get her child to doctor's appointments, get to work and to her child's school and other important appointments. The child is old enough she needs a bus pass as well.

I have a dad who is attempting to reunify with his two children and soon his unborn child. He just lost his job and needs assistance with gas cards to help him get back and forth to appointments/visitations.
This mom is attempting to reunify with her two children and has a baby who is due in another month. She is hugely pregnant so we are requesting Lyft/uber cards to help her get around as she cannot stand for long periods of time to wait on the bus.
A single father has been working very hard to have his children back with him. He has been working full time and successfully completing his services. He visits with them as often as possible and his children want nothing more than to be back with him full time. He has been living out of a hotel up until now which was standing in the way of reunification. He has been able to find an apartment and is needing help with his deposit and first month's rent in order to get set up and work toward getting his children moved back with him.

A young single mother has started her life from scratch and has been living at the Salvation Army for several months. She has been working so hard and has completed nearly all of her services, is working two jobs, spends several hours a day on the bus to get to work, and has been visiting as often as possible with her daughter. The only thing preventing her from progressing toward reunification is having a safe and stable place to live. She has secured an apartment for herself and placed down a deposit but she needs help with first and last month's rent. Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Recently, two children came into custody for severe domestic violence. The maternal grandmother is wanting to keep the children and has the space. However, she is short on cash as she is a single mother and is needing some start up assistance to become a foster parent for these small children. She is needing a twin bedframe and mattress for the oldest child and safety things such as a fire extinguisher, latches for the bathrooms and kitchen, and socket covers. Please help preserve this family placement so the children can be in a kinship home. Thank you for any and all assistance!

Hello! We have a kinship placement that is needing assistance at this time. The foster parent has reliable work and transportation, but has been overwhelmed with the cost of supporting two young children while waiting on her approval and first monthly claim. With the rising costs of both gas and groceries, I think we can all understand the challenges they are facing! Assisting with this request would help insure consistency for the children by remaining in their current kinship placement.

Grandma has the 2 kiddos in the home she shares with great grandma. Grandma is between jobs so for now the family is reliant on great grandma's social security to provide for them and these two little ones. The babies need pretty much everything; clothing, pajamas, shoes and socks. The baby boy wears size 3 mo. - 6 mo. and size 1 diapers. The two year old boy wears size 2T in clothing, size 4 in pullups, and size 7-8 in shoes and socks. Any full or partial assistance with this family's needs is greatly appreciated.

This request is for a single mother with four young children in the age of 8,3-, and 1-year old twins. Natural mother has been engaging in her court ordered plan and maintaining her sobriety for a month now. She is consistently having difficulties with transportation due to the tires on her car. The tires have been so worn out that they need to be replaced immediately. For the time being, she has been getting rides from anyone she can find to attend all her obligations. Where she lives, the public bus requires multiple transfers and hours to get to just one service provider. A donation for three new tires or partial donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

A mother and father need a crib for the apartment which they just moved into. They have a pack and play, but express the need for a crib for him to sleep in. They also need size 18 infant clothes (fall and winter clothes) for their baby. They both work and have strong work ethics but cannot afford extras such as crib and clothes due to needing to pay bills. Gently used items are acceptable. Updated on September 27, 2023 by an Agency Worker This is still a need by the parents. They would like a crib for their baby to sleep in. They also need size 18 Fall and Winter Infant Clothes. Used items are fine.

A family is needing some help with a few items to help support a brother staying in the home of his adult sibling. The adult sibling recently obtained guardianship of him to prevent him from being placed in OKDHS custody. This was a last-minute situation for the family with no time to prepare. They are needing a few items to help make this transition smooth and as little disruption to his needs. He had no items to bring with him to his siblings home. He is currently wearing a size 7/8 shirt (closer to 8), size 5/6 pants, and shoe size 12. He wears a size 8 coat and does not have one for the upcoming cooler weather. He does attend a school that requires uniforms (Royal Blue, Navy Blue, and White Polo/khaki, black, and navy pants). He enjoys Super Mario and Minecraft. His favorite color is red. His sibling has a full-size mattress for him. During her recent move to a larger home (to accommodate him), they lost the hardware to his bedframe so his mattress is currently on the floor. She has requested, if possible, either a box spring or bed frame.
