A family is in need of two twin beds for a 10 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. The beds they are currently sleeping on are ripped and dirty. The family is in also in need of living room furniture. The family will be appreciative of any assistance. The mother works full-time at a local pizza chain and is financially limited.

Two children have a father who lives in Texas and who is trying to be reunified with them. He lives about four hours away and due to car troubles, he has been unable to see them. He has gotten an apartment and is doing his part, and being honest. Asking for help is hard but he has taken that critical step of taking a chance and reaching out and asking for help. He is needing assistance with paying to remove and replace clutch assemble, remove and replace clutch save cylinder, and remove and replace cover gasket. I was provided with the estimate and the total job costs $1,000. I would be able to provide you with the contact information for the father and/or for the company that provided the estimate. This father is trying to be there for his children but he is needing financial support to make it happen. Any amount that you can help with will make a difference. A mother and her two young children were able to safely leave a domestic violence situation. One of her children is in need of a car seat.The mother was a stay-at-home mom for four years and recently found a job and is staying with family friends. She is working to save money to get her vehicle fixed due to need of routine maintenance and to have a deposit for housing whenever she moves up the list. The mother does not have family who reside in Oklahoma, so she is limited on a support system. I am respectfully asking our community to help out this mother with obtaining a car seat so she can travel safely with her children.

A four year old with developmental disabilities would greatly benefit from safety devices such as door alarms and GPS watch to help alert caregivers if he attempts to wander from the home. These measures would provide an added layer of security and peace of mind for the family. Research indicates that a significant number of children with developmental disabilities are prone to wandering away from a safe individual, which can pose a serious safety risk. Please help support a child preserve his and his sister's childhood!

A 17yo new child (and his sibling) to custody is attempting to save his belongings in his childhood home after parents were evicted. The child and foster parents have been in contact with the realtor, who has agreed to allow them to get the children's belongings. The foster home does not have room to house the belongings. We are looking for the following assistance:

This request is for a kinship foster parent who has placement of a teenage foster child. The parent is currently behind on her phone bill and car payment and is seeking temporary assistance to get back on their feet. The mother utilizes the car to take the child to school, medical appointments, and court hearings and uses the phone to coordinate the various needed appointments as well. The foster mother will start receiving regular assistance next month and this help is needed to get caught up and make it to next month where she can continued to make on-time payments. This help would greatly help the child maintain placement and continue her schooling as well as make her needed appointments. The foster parent has done a wonderful job of making sure the child's needs have been met the past few months and your help would ensure the child's needs are continued being met. Bio female 7yo is currently placed in a traditional foster home and is requesting assistance to attend Summer Camps this summer. There are two Camps the foster parents are wanting her to attend in Kay Co and they are both $130 each. Foster parents are requesting assistance with the fees. The child is eager to attend since she has never attended a Summer Camp. The foster parents want to provide the educational experience to the child and would greatly appreciate assistance. The child is outgoing and like to interact with other kids. The foster parents believes this would also improve her social skills, increased independence, boosted confidence, and the chance to explore new interests.

New traditional foster home that would like to be able to take placement of children on emergencies in order to prevent children from having to sleep in offices overnight. This home originally was a kinship home in taking their niece and have converted to a traditional home and so they only have one spare bedroom. The spare bedroom has no bed. The foster family would like assistance in getting a twin low bunk bed, that is with the bottom bed on the bedroom floor with the top bed above it as they have said their ceiling fan is too low for a regular bunk bed. The foster home would like to get help in getting this bed for their home so that they would be able to help with at least two foster children at a time on emergencies and short term placements. The average cost in looking up this type of bed online was about 250 dollars. Assistance for this family will be very much appreciated as it will enable them to keep children from having to stay in offices overnight.

I have a 15 year old female that needs clothes. She wears Shirts Small, Pants Med or 7/8, shoes 7 1/2. She is needing some clothes since she has had a growth spurt. This will help her out so much.

A couple is slowly rebuilding their lives and taking the right steps to reunify with their baby. They are now working, and have found a small home. They are needing help with obtaining basic necessities. These items do not have to be brand new. Could you consider providing some basic items for their home? This would be very uplifting and supportive. This could also be an opportunity to share what your organization can offer them as they look towards strengthening their protective capacities.

We are working with a family currently in need of assistance getting their electricity restored. This was previously a family with two full-time incomes but has recently been scaled back to one part-time income due circumstances beyond the matriarch’s control. This grandmother is now raising 2 grandchildren on her own, while dealing with physical disabilities that prevent full-time employment. She has reached out to community resources and other programs that will help fill the income gap and sustain the family once they get back where they need to be. The total needed for the electricity to be reconnected is $392. Is your ministry able to help with all or part of this amount? This family has had a major change, and your assistance would allow them to remain together, in the home they have lived in for the past 10 years. Please consider helping meet this need.

NEW or USED ---We are working with a family who has expressed the need for three bicycles. The father would be utilizing one bike for a means of transportation back and forth from work. The other two bicycles would be for his 16 year old daughter and 13 year old son to use for physical exercise, to accompany him for family trips to the store or library. If you would be willing to assess this family it would be providing a critical resource for the family. The family is actively saving for repairs to their vehicle. In providing this need you would be helping a father in support of his family.
