A provider has recently taken in a new born child who was already tight on money before the baby was placed in their care. The provider has a family of 6 in the home the provider has already spent a lot of money getting everything ready for the child to include clothes, formula, diapers, etc. Due to the provider getting everything for the baby the provider is now in need of food for the home. The provider is asking for a $250 walmart gift card to be able to help with putting food in the home. The provider is thankful for any help that is received.

The mother of the family is needing phone card due to hers no longer working. This would allow for the mother of the children to be able to communicate with her providers, attorney and caseworker to ensure that she is following her court ordered treatment plan. It has been difficult for the mother of the children to report when she is going to miss her appointments or other treatment without having a phone. Thank you!

A mother of a 6 yr old girl, who is placed with kin in Colorado Springs, was released from jail in Georgia and returned home on 5/12/2025. She moved into a sober living home so she will have a safe place to stay and where she can work on her sobriety. Due to just returning to work, she does not yet have the means to pay for her first month. A visa gift card in the amount of $375 would assist her to ensure the first month is paid as she begins her journey towards sobriety and ultimately, reunification with her daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and non-verbal. This request is on behalf of a biological father whose truck has broken down and needs financial assistance for a part to repair his truck. Father is currently unable to work, as he is recovering from a recent foot surgery. A homeless dad is in desperate need of a new phone due losing the one he had. His children, ages 1 and 8, live with a kinship provider. It is critical that he have a phone in order to stay in touch with his caseworker, children, life skills worker, therapist, and attorney. If this need is met, he will be able to comply with his treatment plan and will be able to talk to his 8 year old son anytime he would like. CASA has a case with three children- ages 9 and younger. The children were removed from their parents after being locked in their room for days at a time, neglect, physical abuse, and relying on the oldest child to feed and care for the younger two. Mother also struggles with her mental health. The children are now living with their grandma, who could use help getting a few furniture items for the children such as two dressers (the two girls can share) and a twin bed, mattress, bedding and a pillow. CASA has a case with two younger children who were removed from parents after the youngest child was born exposed to meth and fentanyl. The children have been placed with a relative who has a very limited budget. The youngest child has outgrown her baby car seat and would benefit greatly from a convertible car seat. The caregiver has many appointments to take the children to and could also use assistance with a gift card for gas (to Maverik, King Sooper gas, Conoco, etc.). CW is actively working with a family with 2 children with Autism. Caregivers are also developmentally delayed. The oldest child is easy startled and frustrated by the loud noises that the youngest child makes. When these noises are made, oldest child runs out of home unattended. This harness will allow for the entire family to enjoy outside time safely. Youngest child also runs off when family is outside. This will keep him secure. Child is 35 lbs. See below:

The oldest child is easy startled and frustrated by the loud noises that the youngest child makes. When these nosies are made, oldest child auditory sense is stimulated making her want to leave her home unattended and not tell her caregivers. CASA has a case with a 6-year-old girl who was abandoned by her mother at a babysitter's home and never returned. The child is non-verbal and has Autism and was placed with her grandmother. The grandmother is lower income and needs some assistance getting a 2-in-1 booster seat and an umbrella stroller to help transport her granddaughter and care for her better. CASA has had a case for three years that opened due to abuse and neglect. The current 2-year-old was severely injured as a baby by the parents, which required months of hospitalization and led to the kids being re-removed. The two CASA advocates bring all of the children together (they are in three different foster placements) and spend their own money on fast food to feed the children, as mom is not providing any food during family visits. CASA is requesting a variety of fast food gift cards (could be to Chick fil A, McDonald's, Burger King, etc.) to help with this expense. Thank you!
