Foster mom has anywhere between 3 and 5 teenagers in her home at any given time. She works will all of her placements on independent living skills to include helping them get jobs and extra curriculars. Currently she has a 13 year old and 16 year old girl that would really benefit from bikes. The 16 year old is currently walking about a mile each way for work and a bike would significantly help in maintain this job. Additionally, the 16 year old helps watch the 13 year old over school breaks so a bike for each girl would be used during this time. Their foster mom has paid for them to have a gym membership that is within biking distance but she is not always available to transport them. Thank you!

Youth is working on their independent living skills and is needing a bike so that he can get to and from his summer job. This bike would also improve this child's life by providing transportation to the gym while his kinship providers are at work.

Family is in need of help in the form of a grocery store gift card who is in great need and well deserving! Here is their story: A cousin has been caring for 3 kids on our case, ages 8, 9, and 16. This cousin is also very young, but she has been doing an amazing job caring for these kids for quite some time now. She makes sure they attend school and also monitors the 16-year old's newly diagnosed diabetes. The last few months have been very stressful and difficult, and any help would be greatly appreciated by the family.

A single mother with 3 children will give birth to her 4th child in two weeks. This young woman has very little relational support in her life at this time and no family. Because her youngest child is well out of his baby years, this mama does not have many baby supplies and is still in need of a travel system. Having this larger cost item covered would allow her to transport the baby safely to appointments and outings, as well as allow her sparse income to go towards essentials like rent and groceries, ensuring she doesn't have to choose between feeding or housing her family. Good afternoon! One of our parent support providers is working with a mom in need of help in the following weeks with transportation. She has a few trips to make out of the city to take her child to specialty care. We are hoping to get a gas card to help the mom alleviate some financial stress. Any help is appreciated! The Department is currently working with a 17 y/o youth (f) who is working towards her independence and learning her independent living skills. This youth has been in care since 2021 and has struggled to stay stable in one placement and to experience stabilization. This youth is about to graduate from high school on May 13th, 2025, on time, as school was a priority for her regardless of her instability. This youth has experienced instability just two weeks prior to graduation and needed to cancel many of her prior appointments. This youth is not able to fund an appointment to get her nails done which she was looking forward to, to feel good for one of her biggest accomplishments. This youth would love nothing more to have money to get her nails done! Anything and everything is so appreciated to help this youth feel as special as she is walking across the stage!!!

This client is moving into a Warren village and needs assistance with furniture and bedding. The parent is currently unemployed any help with any furniture new or used would greatly be appreciated by this family. They are in need of the following items: King size Box Spring, bedding for King size and girl bedding for a toddler bed, 2 dressers, dining room table for 4, couch, and window curtain. The family would be so thankful with any help and with anything new or used. (prices listed are average prices on Amazon, anything would be helpful)

Hello! We are working with a grandmother who is helping her daughter in reunifying with grandaughter. She is retired and low on funds. She is hoping to get help with a gas card to help with the expenses to and from. We are trying to get casework to help cover some costs, however, unable to determine possibility as of yet!

A two-year-old girl was placed in the care of her older sister. The kinship provider has one child of her own. The kinship provider had a reduction in work hours causing a significant loss of income. The kinship provider is struggling financially so, they are not able to purchase diapers/pull-ups for the child. The family is requesting help with diapers size 4 or pull-ups size 2T-3T or a gift card to Walmart to help purchase the items listed. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
