This family needs rent assistance. There are 4 children living in the home. A 15-year-old male, an 11-year-old male, a 4-year-old male, and a 2-year-old female. Due to an unprecedented incident occurring in the home, FOC lost his job and lost a week of work. MOC stays at home to care for the children. Their rent is due on the 10th of each month.

This family has been working with the Department for almost a year, there has been a recent change in living circumstances due to new information brought to the Department. Mom has been the protective for this case but is now facing multiple financial struggles that include her car breaking down, the family is down to one income which has caused them to file bankruptcy and they are struggling to keep consistent groceries in the home. The family is asking for $200 visa gift card to help cover groceries and some snacks for the kids.

I am working with a teenager who's foster placement was recently disrupted due to the foster parents getting divorced. The teenager is currently in a respite location but does not have all of her belongings including underwear, pajamas, and school-appropriate attire. There have been several meetings between myself and the foster family to retrieve items, however the youth still indicates she is missing many of her clothing items. I am request giftcards to take the youth shopping to get her provisions needed for her day-to-day life while staying at the respite while other foster options are looked into and investigated.

Giftcards to anywhere would be great (Walmart, Old Navy, Target, Visa, etc.)

This request is on behalf of a biological mother and a youth who were recently reunified and need financial assistance to catch up on an essential household utility bill. This biological mother has just started a new job at Walmart within the last two weeks after losing her seasonal position with a tax company. This mother was recently commended by the Court for her hard work throughout the family's case. Any assistance would be highly appreciated and would benefit the family greatly.

The department who is working with a potential adoptive family for a 13 year old boy. The youth is getting ready to transition back to his potential adoptive placement but cannot sleep in his original bed due to safety concerns. This youth will have to sleep in a separate living area where he does not have a bed. The room is not big enough for a full size bed but the family has identified a pull out chair that would work. The family is looking for any assistance that could be provided so the youth has a place to sleep once he returns home. Thank you.

I have an eight year old male who is in kinship placement. His parents have both been working hard to address safety concerns and work towards reunification. Mom has been in her own apartment since about February of 2025 and dad will be moving into his own apartment next week (parents are separated). With the anticipated return home, parents will need a bed for their son. I am seeking support in providing a twin bed (one for each house hold) so this is one less item they need to worry about.

I am working with three kiddos who are 4 (male), 3 (female), and 11 mo. (male). In May, they were removed from their home and placed into foster care. The initial foster home they were placed in was not able to meet their needs, so a week later, they had to move again. When the kids were placed in their current home, they did not have much with them. Foster mom reported that the clothing they had does not fit and a lot of the baby items are old, dirty, and had to be thrown away. The two older children are high needs as they struggle with behavioral issues, speech delays, and regulation challenges. The youngest has a brain injury that requires ongoing care. We want to support them and the foster parents as much as possible to help with stability and structure. In speaking with foster parents, they would benefit from some additional support in buying new and useable items for the kids.

The Department is currently working with a 17 y/o youth (f) who has been in DHS custody, placed in foster care since she was 13 years old. This youth was a caregiver of her younger siblings when she was taken into DHS custody and unfortunately was present when her younger sibling passed away from overdose. This youth has done exceptionally well in foster care and most recently finished her school semester with all passing grades. This youth has two parents who are currently incarcerated; however, she is able to speak with them often by phone. This youth is working on her independent living skills as her 18th birthday is approaching and is focusing on finding a job. This youth has job interviews coming up and is excited to have an opportunity to make money over the summer. This youth has been struggling with her weight and body appearance as eating has not been easy for her. She recently started new medications which is helping her appetite. This youth is in need of all new clothing as hers are too big. This youth is requesting a funding in the form of a VISA gift card as she wants to go thrift shopping for her clothes. Any and all help is appreciated to help this youth have a comfortable summer and senior year!!!

This mother has signed into an intensive, voluntary DHS program. She has been making significant progress on the issues that opened the case. The mother is on a fixed income (due to disability SSDI) and just moved into her own apartment. She just began working part time to supplement her income. The client is looking for a easy to use umbrella stroller. She is open to used. Something easy to collapse open and shut. She is approved for community visits with her son and needs a stroller to transport him.

am seeking assistance in getting a mom and her children food. This mom is struggling financially and any help with that would be beneficial for the two children and herself. 3 children we placed in foster care last night due to concerns for abuse and neglect. Their foster placement is in need of 3 car seats. 1 rear facing 5 pt harness car seat and 2 forward facing 5pt harness car seats.

I have a 15 year old living in Kinship care as his mother abandon him last year on his biofathers doorstep. The youth has struggled in his dad's home due to abuse by stepmother and his dad not being protective. Biofather has essential abandoned him by letting him live with the kin family and has not communicated with them at all. This youth is amazing, gets good grades and goes to church every week. He asked if he could get some assistance with a Visa Gift card to help with essentials and have some funds to hang out with his friends. This youth is so deserving and it would be great if someone could assist him.
