This help would make all the difference for their family as the only remaining need is reliable transportation. The mom needs help covering the cost of the car repairs.

A mother of 2 children, ages 12 and 14, needs plumbing assistance. Mother is currently searching for employment and is working with Family Preservation Services. She reported to DCS yesterday that a piece of plumbing is needing repaired so her clothes washer can work properly, but she can't afford to fix it on her own at this time. Two children (12 and 13) were placed in kinship care on 02/14/2023. Both kids needs clothing as some are worn out and other became small for the kids. The new kinship placement is not able to buy clothes for the kids. When kids get clothes, they will be able to stay in the kinship placement. If they cannot get clothing, this can cause placement disruption due to placement feeling not helped to take care for the kids. $200 for each child would be enough.
