Mother is receiving family reunification services through the Department of Children and Family Services. Mother has made substantial progress in addressing her issues and has complied with all of DCFS and Court ordered treatment plan. However, mother does not have stable housing. She reports she is temporarily staying with different friends but mother states their home is not able to accommodate her elementary and middle school age children. Mother does not have the adequate housing nor the resources to secure alternate housing to provide to her children so that she may safely care for them, if children are return to her care. Mother is undocumented. Court has granted overnight visits and the visits may take place in a hotel. The mother is asking if anyone can provide her with a gift card to be use to pay for a hotel. Mother has to show that she is able to care for her children during her visits. Mother would greatly appreciated and the children.

Foster mom has anywhere between 3 and 5 teenagers in her home at any given time. She works will all of her placements on independent living skills to include helping them get jobs and extra curriculars. Currently she has a 13 year old and 16 year old girl that would really benefit from bikes. The 16 year old is currently walking about a mile each way for work and a bike would significantly help in maintain this job. Additionally, the 16 year old helps watch the 13 year old over school breaks so a bike for each girl would be used during this time. Their foster mom has paid for them to have a gym membership that is within biking distance but she is not always available to transport them. Thank you!

Youth is working on their independent living skills and is needing a bike so that he can get to and from his summer job. This bike would also improve this child's life by providing transportation to the gym while his kinship providers are at work.

Family is in need of help in the form of a grocery store gift card who is in great need and well deserving! Here is their story: A cousin has been caring for 3 kids on our case, ages 8, 9, and 16. This cousin is also very young, but she has been doing an amazing job caring for these kids for quite some time now. She makes sure they attend school and also monitors the 16-year old's newly diagnosed diabetes. The last few months have been very stressful and difficult, and any help would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Dallas County Permanency Court Judge Gonzales has 15 youth who have never been adopted graduating from high school this year. Some are going to college, some are staying in extended care, and some are going into the work force. We would like to provide each of them with “Launch Baskets” to support them as they enter adulthood without family supports. Each launch basket will be tailored to each youth’s specific situation and preferences and will include a Bible and items such as new bedding, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and gift cards. Because her youngest child is well out of his baby years, this mama does not have many baby supplies and is still in need of a travel system. Hello all, I am hoping you can help a very dear family. They are 5 adults and 2 children, living in a household that are looking for rental assistance. The family had to leave a previous location due to being uninhabitable, and the previous landlord did not correct the issues. The family has exhausted other resources by staying with other family members and was even homeless for a day. The family was able to obtain a They were able to find a place to stay, but are in need of deposit for the rental by this Saturday (2 days from now). The deposit is $1500. The family is unable to come up with the deposit due to fixing their vehichle which is their only mean for transportation, allowing them to work. Meeting this immediate need for this family will allow them to maintain shelter.

The mom is currently not working due to having a baby. She hasn't been able to work since having the baby. Dad currently is working on and off jobs and at the moment they do not have income and family is helping. Mom stated she went to food stamps and applied,but she is currently waiting for the application to be processed. The family is needing help with groceries and baby items.
