The family just had a newborn and is needing a bed, parents are currently sleeping on air mattress.

My kin caregiver is currently caring for her (2) 19-year-old great nephews who arrived separately in 2006 and 2019. She has since adopted her great nephew who arrived as a 6-month-old infant in 2006 and currently cares for her great nephew who was placed with her at 14 years old in 2019. The great aunt lives on a fixed income and serves as the sole provider to her household of three. Recently, a large split began forming on the family’s dining room table from wear-and-tear and the table has started to wabble. As a result, the table no longer provides a safe, stable place for her nephews to eat their meals. Additionally, an ergonomic, adjustable computer chair is needed for her great nephews’ bedroom, as their current computer chair has incurred significant wear-and-tear. Due to her limited resources, along with recent economic hardships, replacing these items poses a significant challenge for my kin caregiver. Assisting her with a dining table (approximately 56.25” length x 36” width x 36” height) and an ergonomic, adjustable computer chair would not only ensure that her great nephews have a comfortable place to enjoy their meals and entertain themselves in their downtime, but would also enable them to bond with one another.

Single mother of 2 young children with a baby due in June. She was homeless but was able to move into housing and keep her children with her. She is in need of 2 car seats for her kids, currently she is unable to drive because she cannot afford car seats. She is a great mom that has worked hard to give her kids a new life but now she needs to make sure she is able to transport them safely. Here are the links to the type of car seat she is needing. These kids have experienced a hard life, and we would love to see them thrive and feel safe and this is a great start to aid in supporting them. A mother of a 6 yr old girl, who is placed with kin in Colorado Springs, is expected to be released from jail in Georgia on 5/10/2025 and will be returning to Colorado Springs on 5/12/2025. She has a bed reserved in Sober Living so she will have a safe place to stay. Due to having no job, she does not yet have the means to pay for her first month. A visa gift card in the amount of $450 would assist her to ensure the first month is paid as she begins her journey towards sobriety and ultimately, reunification with her daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and non-verbal. This request being met would be a huge blessing in this young mom's life. Thank you so much for considering!

Two children ages 9 and 11 were placed in the care of their cousin. Their cousin also has a 15 year old child of their own. The family recently moved into a new home and are struggling financially so, they are not able to purchase groceries for the household. The family is requesting help with any of the items listed above or a gift card to Walmart or King Soopers to help purchase groceries. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Hello, I have a mother on my caseload that just passed her 1 year sober milestone! She is employed for the first time in many years and is looking at getting her own apartment after living in sober living. she has some applications in at different apartment communities and is close on one but will need $500 to help with the first payment to get the keys. She is working and taking some college courses online and is confident that she will be able to make the payments moving forward. Any help towards this would be greatly appreciated! Kinship provider has been driving children to visits and several appointments. She is asking for additional help with a gas card. She is in the process of getting assistance, but is really needing help.

A dedicated foster mom has just welcomed a new placement into her home and is in need of a dresser. The child arrived with more clothing than expected, and additional storage is needed. We are seeking a donated dresser in good condition or a gift card to help offset the cost of purchasing one. Any support you can offer, whether it’s a piece of gently used furniture, a store gift card, or simply spreading the word would mean the world. At our summer kids club we provide lunch for a diverse set of students, Tuesday - Thursday at Noon. Each Summer we ask churches, families, or individuals to come serve meals to our students. We typically have around 60 students enrolled. In some cases, there are left over food, and this will be used towards a day when no one is signed up to bring food. We would love for you to partner with us to serve these students that perhaps wouldn't have food during these days if it weren't for opportunities like these. We have started a sign-up genius to allow volunteers to sign up to serve meals.

We have a young mom in our program who recently aged out of foster care and is also working hard to reunify with her toddler son who is currently in foster care. When she moved into her apartment she was given some handy down furniture, however, there have been concerns that the furniture isn't safe. She would like to get a new (or used) couch that is safe for her toddling 1 year old.

KINSHIP. Maternal Grandmother was the Legal Guardian of her 11-year-old grandson. Last month the 11 yar-old died by suicide. The caregiver is grief stricken at this time and in need of support. She asked for assistance with groceries in the form of a gift card to WinCo Foods. The family can utilize all avenues of support at this delicate time.
