A single mom in need of a couch for her home. She has an 18 year old with special needs, a 4 yo, twin 6 year old's, and a 16 yo. They do not currently have living room furniture, therefore to all spend time together, they do so in mom's bedroom.

We have an Adult Sibling, who has taken custody of her three siblings ( 1 college, 7 year old and 3 year old). The recently moved into the new apartment and have most everything they need except a couch. We received a request for assistance from the GAL after he completed a home visit. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We’re reaching out to request help for a family we are working with—a mother and father with six children—who are currently without a working dryer. As you can imagine, keeping up with laundry for a family of this size is already a full-time task, and not having access to a dryer has made things even more challenging. The children are being bullied at school because of the smell of their clothes. A working dryer would be an ideal blessing. However, gift cards to a local laundromat (Coin Laundry) would also be incredibly helpful and deeply appreciated in the meantime. The household includes a great grandmother, two-year-old child, and the child’s parents. Both mother and great grandmother have ongoing health conditions that make them unable to work, and father is currently out of work to care for them and the two-year-old child. The home is in need of immediate repairs and has holes in the floor and back door. Additionally, the home desperately needs to be cleaned and trash, broken glass, and rusty, sharp metal items removed. Items needed include: plywood or subfloor pieces, tarps, industrial/heavy duty garbage bags, and cleaning supplies. Family of 3 is in need of a plumber as the toilets are not flushing. Everything else seems to be able to drain.

I have a client that has secured housing, and she is needing help with furniture and cleaning supplies. She has 4 children that are in a foster home. If client gets home ready for children, we eventually will be able to reunify the children to their mom.

cleaning supplies: paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning/mopping supplies, broom-dust pan, mop, towels and wash clothes, hand soap, body soap, shampoo. Mom also uses whitfield transit and could benefit from coupon books.

There is a total of 4 children. I have a twin bed frame but will need bunk beds and a toddler bed still.

Hey all! We currently have a mom, who has been diligently working her case plan in hopes of reunification with her daughter in the near future. Recently, she has moved into a new home that has been in need of renovations/work. At this time, she has worked hard to ensure the home is safe for her daughter to come home, however, she has multiple windows needing repaired and currently has tarps/covers over them. There are at least 4/5 windows needed or needing significant repairs if anyone is able to help this mom ensure her home is safe and adequate for reunification. Thank you so much in advance!

The request for window-repairs has been met (yayy!!) and they are working to get repairs for this family, mom has now noted that she will need two small AC units for the home since it is becoming warmer outside. Her mother is working towards getting a larger unit for the living room, but she will need two for the bedrooms (2). Thank you all so much!

A single mother has moved here to Catoosa County from Florida due to hurricane. She lives in a sigle wide trailer with her 4 minor children and 1 adult son. She struggles with a roach infestation and does use over the counter roach spray but it is not effective. Her daughter struggles with ashtma. This mother would appreciate any help for her family.

A young mother has fled an abusive situation with her 4 children, ages 6-15. They left with the clothes on their back and nothing else. She has a full-time job and has found a home to rent. She is has zero money to have electricity and water turned on at their new home. There is also a need for all home items including furniture, bedding, kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, and anything you need for a home. To have the electricity turned on is $400 and water is $162. Let's pull together so they can safely live in their new home with the basic needs of electricity and water and needed items.
