This family of four has just moved to Texas, and are in need of some furniture and appliances. They do not have any living room furniture, and do not have a washer or dryer. The parent also does not have transportation, which makes it difficult to get the students' clothes washed. Because of this, the students sometimes have inconsistent attendance as well. The washer and dryer would allow them to have clean clothing to consistently come to school in. They do not have any family members in the area, or much of a support system here in Texas yet. Any support you can give to this family would be greatly appreciated.
A maternal great grandmother agreed to emergently take over caring for a 1-year-old girl, 11-month-old boy and 3-week-old girl (great grandchildren) to ensure child safety and prevent the children from going to foster care. Grandma cannot afford to provide the necessary sleeping arrangements for all three of the children on such short notice. As safe sleep is a priority, these children, especially the 3-week old's safety would be drastically improved with proper sleeping equipment such as a bassinet (baby item/other). Additionally, the 1-year-old and 11-month-old's safety would be improved if they had their own toddler beds. The children are in need of clothing (for cold weather) and diapers would be very helpful in easing the transition for maternal great-grandmother and help secure a more permanent solution for the children.
1-year-old girl wears size 18–24-month clothes and size 4 diapers, 11-month-old boy wears size 18-month clothes and size 4 diapers and 3-week-old girl wears size newborn clothes and diapers.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I understand the price of this request is high, grandmother will be appreciative of anything provided. Caseworker can assist with pick-up/delivery - please call or text(###) ###-####. Thank you.
I have a young mother of two young children who could really use help making her home safe for her children. She could really use a baby gate, a door alarm, knob covers, and a portable heater that is safe and appropriate for young children to be around.

There is only one caregiver in the home. She is struggling to provide for her child. Child is female and is 3 months old. The caregiver is working hard to provide a stable and safe environment. The family consists of a single mother, who just lost her job and her four children. They are behind on their utility bills. We have the electric bill covered, but we need help with the gas bill. She has paid everything down on the gas bill to approximately $230.
The caregiver is in the process of having her home licensed. She is a single woman who assumed care of the child, who is also her cousin and 5-years-old, after his mother had mental breakdown. Mother's current whereabouts are unknown, and she has been in and out of mental institutions. Caregiver has had child since birth and is requesting financial assistance to pay her utilities so she can have her home licensed and receive ongoing financial support for the child.
This family is in need of support as there are 3 teenagers being raised by a single mother since their father passed away. She works hard to care for her children and herself but she is stretched thin as one of her children has been acting out since losing his father and requires a lot of her attention to manage his behaviors and mental health needs. I would like to make things easier on this family so they can expend energy, finances, and time to other needed things.

Grandmother states she is behind on rent and currently has no food, with light and water bill pending. Grandmother is very concerned student will stop attending school as she is also trying to work with her regarding the abrupt departure of her biological mother, she feels bad to have to ask, but does not see any other options to keep a roof over their heads and some hot food on the table, Grandmother is also asking for prayer as this has been a very difficult month and its holiday time, thank you for your support.
A couple took in their infant niece a few months ago. Their niece is growing fast and she is too big for her bassinette now and is in need of a crib. It is a family of 7 with 5 children (11 years old girl, 10 years old boy, 9 years old girl, and 7-year-old twins, a boy and a girl). All of the children are in needs of beds. The family recently moved apartments and had to throw away all of the furniture away due to a roach infestation. The family did not want to move the insects from one home to the other and they thought the best course of action would be to throw everything away and start over. Anything would be helpful to the family and help ease the burden.
A single mother of 4 is in need of some assistance with furniture. The father of the 3 youngest recently had a mental health episode and he can no longer assist with the children physically or financially. This has caused a significant amount of strain on the mother. There are 4 children, 2 male and 2 female. There is an age range from 17 Y to 8 months old. Her home has beds for each of the children but lacks a dining room table, and couches for their 2 living areas.
A kinship caregiver home is requesting assistance with paying for daycare for 1 week of the month of December. The child is going to be moving out of the country with family and the case will be closing as permanency is about to be achieved. However, the caregivers are requesting help to pay for the 1 week of daycare at the daycare that the child has been going to for the past 10 months and that he loves. The child is an adorable 11 month old little boy. The caregivers finances are tight at this time and all assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Single mother of four children is in need of appropriate sleeping arrangements for her 1-year-old (male), 5-year-old (female), 6-year-old (male), and 6-year-old (female) children. This is important to ensure a high level of safety for the children while they are sleeping, this would allow for every reasonable precaution to be taken to protect the children from harm and hazard. It is also important for children to have a healthy sleep for their growth and immunity.
This family consists of a great grandmother who is on oxygen and mostly bed bound, and two grandmothers who are raising 4 children, ages 7-13 one with special needs who has limited verbal skills. The family lost the Great Grandfather in 2018 and has been struggling with grief, and cleaning out of his room which became infested with bed bugs and is now impacting the health and well being of the children and the family. The services requested will be able to chemically treat the home, heat treat the home and existing mattresses and provide mattress covers plus provide a year of warranty to make sure the pests are completely gone. We obtained 3 quotes for extermination services and the agency providing the services was the most affordable with the best coverage. The grandmother recently obtained a new job and is working hard to provide what she can for the family.
Grandmother is caring for 1 y/o (F), 2 y/o (M), and 9 y/o (F). The 1 y/o is needing a crib, and the 2 y/o is needing a toddler bed for appropriate sleeping arrangements. This would allow for the children to have safe sleeping arrangements. The children are also needing appropriate car seat safety, as they currently do not have any. This will reduce the risk of serious injury and death in the event of a car accident.
A single caregiver was just licensed to adopt her 3 year old niece. This little girl will be 4 years old in January. Her niece recently had a huge growth spurt and does not have fall and winter clothes that fit her. The little girl is need of size 6-7 clothing that is appropriate for fall and winter.
An aunt and uncle took in their triplet nieces and nephew to their home upon their release from the hospital after their birth. The babies are now 7 months old and are in the process of transitioning to their cribs. The caregivers are requesting assistance with crib mattresses and crib sheets for the babies. The family has had a lot of expenses in caring for the babies and are requesting help with the cost of crib mattresses and sheets. The donation of crib mattresses will allow the caregivers to continue to meet the other needs of the babies. The caregivers are in the process of getting licensed with their hopes of adopting the babies.
The family consists of a mother and her 13 and 11 year old boys. I was just notified that they found bedbugs on the 11 year old boy's mattress, and have thrown it out and begun treatment in the home. He will need a new mattress and sheets.
