A single mother who recently moved into a new apartment and just found out she is pregnant is in urgent need of support. She is starting over with very limited resources and is currently unable to work while trying to secure daycare for her three daughters. Her children include a toddler (24 months, wears size 24-month clothing), a preschool-aged daughter (wears size 4T-5T clothing and size 5 shoes), and a school-aged daughter (wears size 7/8 clothing and size 12 shoes). The family is in need of essential items including pull-ups (size 4-5), diapers (size 4), wipes, a bassinet, car seat, walker, toddler cups, and baby bottles. The mother is also in need of clothing (t-shirts size small, pants size medium, shoe size 8/8.5). Household and furniture needs include a sectional couch, table and chairs, vacuum, cleaning supplies, towels, rags, laundry detergent, dish soap, two twin-size bedding and comforter sets, a queen comforter set, and window curtains. Meeting this need would greatly support this family as they work to build a safe, clean, and stable home.

Two children are placed here with relative from Indiana. The family recently lost their car. The children go to school out of district due to School Choice program. The relative has no way to get the children to school without a car. She has a rental car through tomorrow, but can't afford it after that. We are requesting transportation assistance to help these kids get to and from school until the end of the school year. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure what to put for exact need. They need a vehicle but can't afford one right now. But the main issue is getting the kids to and from school.

I have a mom who is trying to be reunifed with her son who is deaf. He is residing out of county. The mother needs to have consistent visitiaton with him to be reunifed but also to help his own mental state to have video visits with his mother. The mother is in need of a laptop to have video visits as the screen is big enough for her to sign so he can see her and so they can communicate.

This request is made in support of maintaining the stability of a kinship placement involving a one-year-old boy who was recently placed with a relative caregiver. The caregiver is doing everything she can to provide a safe and nurturing home for the child. However, she is currently living in reduced-income housing and has recently given birth, both of which have placed additional strain on her resources. At this time, she would greatly benefit from assistance with essential childcare supplies—specifically, size 5 diapers (preferably Luvs or Pampers, if available) and unscented baby wipes. Hello! This request is made in regard to two sisters, a five and a ten-year-old, who have been recently placed with their grandmother. Grandma is currently going through financial strife at the moment as bills have been rising such as her utilities and mortgage and is having a hard time affording twin bed sheets for the kiddoes. We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share that a family is in urgent need of rental assistance. Recently, the family faced an unforeseen hardship due to a recent hospitalization, and as a result, they have fallen into a difficult financial situation. Despite these challenges, the family is determined to keep their 17-year-old grandchild in school so they can finish out this school year.

Right now, they are $550 short on rent, and with the threat of eviction looming this coming Monday, we are desperately seeking any support that can help them stay afloat during this tough time. Caregiver has taken in her two nieces, ages 2 and 3 yrs old. The girls will be sharing a bedroom. Given their young age and high activity level, the caregiver will feel more at ease knowing she can closely monitor the children while they are playing in their room or during the evening hours to insure their safety and well-being.

This request is being submitted on behalf of a family that is currently participating with Hope Florida. This family of four is struggling to meet their children’s basic needs. The mother and father moved from Chile to the US 3 years ago along with their two kids. Upon arrival, the family of 4 was living with relatives. This living arrangement lasted for a little over 1 year. The family then moved into their own place, but because they are starting all over again in a new country, the family is not yet finically stable. The husband is working but feels his earnings are barely enough to cover the expenses. The mother is currently expecting and is due to give birth In June of 2025. Client’s 2-year-old and 7-years old needs some basic hygiene items along with clothing. Without out the help, the children will go without their basic needs being met.
