A family is in need of a toddler frame and mattress for their three-year-old child. The father is currently sleeping on the couch in the living room so the mother and child can have the bed. The family has limited resources and the child only has a crib, which he no longer can fit in.

I have a student at my school who has come home with lice a few times. The family needs lice kits and the additional expense is difficult due to a newborn in the home too. This is a single-parent household and Mom is seeking additional assistance.

A family of a mother, step-father, and 3 children (9,6,1) is struggling financially and has requested help with a twin bed frame for their 6 yr old son. The family also is in need of a cleaning service to help organize and declutter their home in efforts to maintain the cleanliness.

A single mother currently has custody of her 15-year-old stepdaughter and is raising five children on her own. Since the stepdaughter has come into her care, she has been sharing a bedroom with the stepmother’s biological daughter. In an effort to make space for her, the stepmother gave up her daughter’s dresser, but they are now in need of an additional dresser so that both girls have a place to store their clothes. The family is also facing clothing shortages. The stepmother’s two-year-old son is growing rapidly and wears size 4T in shirts, pants, and underwear. Due to his growth and the family’s limited financial resources, she is struggling to keep up with his wardrobe needs. The girls in the home are also in need of undergarments. They wear bra sizes 34C and 32D, and underwear in sizes extra small and medium. Additionally, the two-year-old does not currently sleep in his own room. The stepmother is working to help him transition, but he needs a toddler bed frame and a mattress to make that possible.

This Mom currently has 2 children, a son aged 4 and a daughter aged 5, in the care of GCDSS. She has another child who is with her at home. There is no contact with the bio father. Mom is re-married but currently has no contact with her husband. Mom’s license is currently suspended. The GCDSS is looking to expand visitation with the mother and her 2 children and work towards a trial discharge home. The items requested would be used for this mom to transport all her children safely while she continues to address the issue with her license, as well as provide a safe sleeping area for the newborn upon arrival.

A single mother of two children recently moved into her own apartment, after leaving a bad domestic violence relationship is in need of assistance for furniture. The mother asked the caseworker for a queen size bed frame, love seat/small couch and hygiene products.

This family consists of a single Mom is raising her 16 year old daughter on her own. She has limited supports and does not drive. The family is struggling with not having adequate clothing. The 16 year old often will not attend school due to not having any clothes. Both mother and child would benefit from having clothing. 16 yr. old- shirts (small), Short and pants (small). Underwear (small). Bra (size 32B), all no color preferences. Mom- Boys/men's clothing- small Sports bra- small Dark colors preferred.

I'm currently working with a single mom and her three-year-old son who just got a new apartment and are moving out of a shelter. The mom had her belongings held in storage, but the storage unit leaked causing them to lose everything. The child's father is incarcerated and unable to help provide. I believe this mother and her son would greatly benefit from community aid in hopes to replace some of what was lost. This family in need consists of a single mom who has been working very hard to get her children back in her care. Mom has also been maintaining her sobriety; she has been sober for almost a year now and is on the track to graduate from all of her programs. Mom has four children, 3 girls (10, 2, 11 months) and 1 boy (4). Since mom has been on this positive track, she is moving closer to the children being returned to her. Every Saturday she spends time with all 4 children, and she has her 11-month-old with her all the time. Mom is requesting a twin stroller, bottles, and wipes. The twin stroller would be beneficial for mom when she is taking the children somewhere.

This family in need consists of a mother who has 3 children in foster care (ages 4, 5 and 7). The mother has been working towards reunification with the children and has recently moved into a new apartment. However, due to a recent car accident she is unemployed. In working on getting her children back home she is trying to set up the new apartment but is struggling obtaining the remaining items she needs at this time. Mom is requesting a kitchen table and chairs, a coffee table, curtain rods and curtains (standard sized windows), a full-size bedding set, 3 twin bedding sets for the children, a dresser for the kids clothing, towels, and a tv stand.
