The mom is currently not working due to having a baby. She hasn't been able to work since having the baby. Dad currently is working on and off jobs and at the moment they do not have income and family is helping. Mom stated she went to food stamps and applied,but she is currently waiting for the application to be processed. The family is needing help with groceries and baby items.

Caregiver is caring for a newborn family member. Caregiver is requesting a new/infant stroller due to constant doctors visits.

A single mother of three young children is in urgent need of grocery support after using her limited funds to cover an unexpected car repair. She is currently low on food and struggling to provide meals for her kids, all under age six. Temporary assistance with groceries will help ease her burden and ensure her children have access to daily nutrition. Mom is actively working to regain stability and expects to manage independently moving forward.

Mother has two children whom she is the sole caregiver to she had previously bought the children bunk beds which were lost in a house fire. She is in need of new bunk beds, mattresses and bedsheets for the children. The children currently don’t have beds and are sleeping with caregiver/ on the couch. Mother is also needing help with getting the children clothing for the summer since most of the clothing was lost in the fire.

House consists of mom, grandma and child. Grandma and mom both work but grandma had a heart bypass not too long ago and cannot work for long periods. The mom was working but her store closed abruptly as they filed for bankruptcy. Mom’s checks from there have been bouncing as the company doesn’t have money to pay the employees right now. She got a new job but it is going to take a few weeks before she gets her first check and it will be very small since she just started. Mom also had to take a week off when her autistic child was sick and he recently had a procedure in the hospital she had to be off for as well. The family is behind right now on bills. I have helped with the bills but they need groceries, pull ups, household products such as toilet paper, cleaning products, etc.

The family recently moved to Dallas, and they are living in a hotel room. The hotel room doesn't have good ventilation and it's causing air Quilty issues. They are a one income household. Mom does keep the room clean. She is currently savings up to move out of the hotel, but this request would help with the temporary placement she has now for her and her daughter.

The mom is not currently working due to health issues, and she is trying to find more functionally bedding for both children for the current limit space.

The children were removed from the home and placed with family friend. There are large rats in the home which is a serious safety concern. Mom has cleaned the home but the rats are still there. It would be beneficial to have an exterminator help get rid of them and could help with reuniting that family. I was unable to get a quote so am unsure of the cost. (As of 5/5 efforts are still being made for a more accurate quote for the house)

This family’s apartment burned down and they lost everything. We were able to get donated items (2 beds, dressers and a kitchen table) but we have no way to load/unload and transport it to her. The furniture is in Salado and the new place for the family is in Waco. It would be a huge help to find someone willing to help with this.

A couple took in their cousins and are almost done with foster care licensing to adopt. They need a 5lb fire extinguisher and a large box with a lock for medications. During this process, one of the caregivers was hit in an accident and their car was totaled. The car seats are unusable now, they need two 5 point convertible car seats. I will link ideas of needs for reference. Any assistance is appreciated to help this home asap. Thank you!

The family has recently become homeless. The mother of the children was living with her grandmother which was across the street from the school. The grandmother has kicked the mother and her 4 children out of the house. they are homeless and staying with a friend in Ft. Worth. However, she does not have gas to continue bringing the children to school in Waxahachie. We cannot help with transpiration because this living arrangement is not long term. The friend is only allowing temporary housing.

Support needed for three amazing single mamas who are in need of funds to help cover groceries and household supplies for the next month. This includes two mamas with 5-month-old babies who need baby essentials like formula, diapers, and wipes, as well as a third mama who is pregnant and needs nutritious food and household necessities to prepare for her little one’s arrival. Any contributions, whether big or small, will go directly towards ensuring these families have what they need to stay healthy, safe, and supported during this challenging time.
